Women's sports aren’t fun, because it’s dumbed down. I want to see checking in hockey. I want to see dunks in basketball, and I want to see tackles in football. Flag football? Seriously?

Humbling experiences can be a foundation for future success. Imagine we unconvincingly sweep a really bad team (e.g. Lindenwood) and then half of the people on this forum lambast the team/coaches. Let’s also imagine a few of their fans find their own way onto this forum, and read the things we say. Although disappointed with this season, I do remind myself regularly how great hockey at the Ralph has been these past 20 plus years.

Some of the things Moore has done in the defensive zone this year. You either have it, or you don’t. He ain’t got it.

I’ve listened to him on his podcast, not impressed.

I wouldn’t go that far. This group has underperformed all year, but has shown the ability to score goals. Most interesting aspect, is the lack of power play goals the past few weeks. If the power play gets things right again, and they continue to play better 5x5, maybe there’s a chance.

The issue is playing them together. Hain is leaps ahead of Senden, and showed it last night. Hain had at least five grade A chances. Senden was non existent. Need to split them up.
