I felt a little like we've been smoke and mirrors on offense so far this year. Eventually the smoke clears.

Passing: 2-5 for 11 yards. That is beyond pathetic.
I don't want to hear about it's only his 3rd or 4th start. Didn't Klancher and Klostermen start as reshman? Heck when Tommy came in off the bench as a true freshman when running scout team in practice and came in against Sam Houston and looked way better than Romfo.
Romfo is a small town ND kid. If he was out of state kid, nobody would think his performance was acceptable and be making all kinds of excuses.

Makes me think of Jimmy 'Fylingsaucer' out running the NDSU DB's in the Fargodome as he had black pants on, although woulda been white tops since on the road. Probably just reminds me of that era as I think they work the black pants a lot in the mid to late 90's.
I'm ok with that combo, but I'd still like to see the Green helmet, green jersey, white pants at some point.

I'm going to say it.....if we had Cam Miller at QB we'd be Title contenders....deep playoff run contenders at a minimum.

Unbelievable. Even with the NDSU magic that you can never count them out....I thought this one was too much for them to overcome. Yet they take the lead with 50 seconds left to play and a timeout still in their pocket.

I agree with this, since our defense let them score on 3 straight drives....I think they kept Romfo out there....plus he obviously needs reps and practice on some of his throws. And this is coming from a guy who wanted to see plenty of Jerry in 2nd half when we were up 38-7 at half.
I hope there is still a chance the next two games where Jerry gets more than a kneel down snap.

That was an impressive run, actually they both were. But who do you take carries away from....Z, Smith, Seidl? Agree we need to get more stuff outside. They pretty much bottled up Z today. Hunt seems like he should be on kickoffs with Seidl.

As much as we may have wanted to run it down their throats on that drive, I'm ok with those passes, Romfo needs to continue to get more comfortable throwing the ball and those types of passes. We drove down the field by mostly passing the ball, I'm ok with that.

At a minimum Jerry better get the whole 4th quarter and would like to see him running the offense and not just hand the ball off.

If there is no separation, usually better if it's under thrown...almost always get a flag when receiver comes back for the ball
