    He can run run

Looks like a pretty strong arm too. 2:20 into his Jr. Year highlight he chucked it roughly 43 yards down field while rolling out to his left. Some other throws looked like he was able to flick it pretty good without really stepping into it.

I don't know of recruiting someone specifically for this, but it seems like it would make sense to take someone with Q's strength and frame ... maybe another TE and work with them specifically for 4th and 1 situations. Q has been absolutely amazing at embracing that role. No trickery needed ... everyone knows what we are doing, but we do it anyway. Would be nice to have a situational replacement for when he is gone.

I was thinking about this recently too, if we try to find a big skill player who can take over the QB sneak after Q is gone. I mean if it's 4th and 1 or less anywhere on the field I don't even get nervous when Q comes in and we got for it. I think SDSU on the goal line is the only one who stopped him. Such a huge luxury to be like 95 percent on 3rd or 4th and short and we really need it.

I'm curious at what angle the replay officials had that showed anything, as the replays on TV gave no indication that it would be overturned as you couldn't tell anything.  Haven't really heard any complaining anywhere so I'm guessing they got the call right, but I would have loved to see the replay that showed it.

Maybe they had it where two different views were synced, if you had the view showing when his knee hit with the other angle showing where the ball was that would show it. I honestly do think he was probably just short, but yeah nothing conclusive at all on the replays shown on Midco. But if they had a synced view that may have shown them enough to overturn it.

  4. Going into the UNI game I felt after getting pummeled by SU and then having a Bye week, I felt we'd come out and play well against UNI and we did.

This week going on the road against a decent, but not great team...and technically it's not a must win game... it just feels like in the past several years this is the type of game we lose. There was talk after the first few games how.....this Team just feels different.  We'll see if this is true and we can buck our recent trend in this type of game.

By technically not a must win game, I just mean we could still beat one of the South Dakotas and end up 8-4. In a sense this is a must win game, more just that our backs aren't up against the wall right now. We lose this game though,  and we are backed up against the wall. Need to win the games we should win, and we haven't always done that...especially on the road.

    1.2 mil I heard.

Loyalty is one thing, but 1.2 million in your pocket at age 22 is life changing. Especially for a guy that isn’t guaranteed to make nfl money.
Hate to tell a kid not to stay loyal to his teammates, but in this case, I think he should’ve taken the money.

Agree. If he just took that money and put it in a S&P 500 index fund and didn't touch it that alone would fund his retirement in 25-30 years.

Makes you wonder how talented Gronowski really is when he doesn’t have nfl talent surrounding him at every position.

On the broadcast it said he had one NIL offer of 1 million. He probably shoulda taken that.

With UND's inability to play well on the road and not being able to move the ball through the air consistently wouldn't say either of the next 2 games are automatic wins.

Yep, one of those games will be a four quarter game...or nail biter. We are not the same team on the road. Hoping we can channel our strong play from Iowa St. on the road against YSU.

The TD throw was nice but I don’t think 107 passing yards is scaring anyone

Agree with that. Nice Ball to Bo for that TD, perfect pass to Q a minute ago but got broken up. No skipped balls today :D But yes..stiill seems like are passing game in general is a bit pedestrian.
