Maybe but if the lawsuit goes forward & SL wins - I don't trust UND Admin. or SBOHE to make the effort to bring the name back I know most are tired of all this - so am I - but to quit now seems really ignorant - It also baffles me that more are not supporting SL's efforts - It is SAD that a last ditch effort & UND Admin & Alumni & Residents of ND is not supported by all --- VOTE NO until it's over then the anti nickname folks can have their own referral vote - with no one to argue against them 

The SBOHE WAS Wrong & the AG was wrong on SR - I don't believe a united effort was made to persuade SR - sure due to their stubborn ignoring it - but they can't ignore a Sioux County vote (well they can) but if UND & the SBOHE & all North Dakotans put positive pressure on them & show them a way to make $$$ from this I think they will finally have their own vote --- If SL wins a new settlement has to come - if not the ncaa is even worse than what I think of them now & ND should tell them to go to He11

If the ncaa loses to SL a new agreement will come - I'm not 100% sure what they will want but it seems removing the negativity from the name is one of their goals Vote No & let it play out A Yes vote says everyone has gave up & UND will quickly remove all things Fighting Sioux (like they already tried to do) You never give up until it's over - SL has a chance - the nay sayers have been wrong so many times how can anyone trust them anymore

then time will tell rejoice that Sioux County may vote yes (they don't want the name) then I agree it is over But after the vote we will know & if they vote no (want the name) you will see a resurgence of wanting to keep the fight alive

Like you all say it their (ncaa) club (monopoly) & their rules I can live with no name & no logo at their crappy tournament's They need to be broke up & find new ways to run tournaments

I thought it was a good year - I like all teams getting better - & more players getting a chance - I thought I saw many so-so average players grow into really good players - I like a bunch of average guys coming together & being very competitive I love the potential super stars but many have not performed up to their hype or leave too soon I was impressed by Union & Ferris State & the old rule - If you have a hot goalie at this time of year anyone can win it Kinda like the miracle on ice team I thought BC looked great & would love to see them play the true top ten teams Parity is good for sports overall What are guesses of tomorrow nights score 1-0 2-1 or 10-2 - I know which game I'd like to see Ferris better stay out of the box

I love Sioux Gear & have always enjoyed seeing what other fans have & wear - especially at the many final fives & 1 Frozen 4 I have been to & I have lived & worked all over the State. There has always been LOTS of Sioux Gear But now there is SIOUX Gear extrodinaire None of us will live long enough to see it end I'm willing to bet most of those Folks are willing to vote to keep their gear, The Proud Name, of the teams they Love
