  1. You might be on to something. Or, it's just piss-poor shooting and too many turn-overs.
  2. Disagree, overall the Vikes were the slightly better team yesterday. If they choked (Vikes) then they don't win (i.e. Diggs drops that pass, Keenum overthrows him, etc.) Vikes dominated the 1st half while the Saints (admittedly) won the 2nd half. Everyone knew though, as good as the Vikes are defensively (come on, even you can admit that, huh?), they were most likely not going to shut out the Saints.. Last play, good defensive teams make those tackles while lesser talented defensive teams sometimes miss them.
  3. Non-purple color glasses? And N Orl got absolutely stomped by Minn in the first half. Yeah, sure, Vikes got the calls.
  4. 5-1 win. Back to back decisive wins, nice. About time. Need to put clamps down/leave no doubt tomorrow night at the Ralph. Just watch it be a low scoring, nail biter down to the last minute--just get the win in that case.
  5. Yah, it wouldn't let me click on the card type either although it did allow me to enter the expiration date (I'm watching the game).
  6. Why can't our "local home team" WDAZ tv pick it up? Bemidji a short distance away, doesn't WDAZ Have the funds, technology, etc. to do that or does Midco and/or NCHC.tv prohibit such or is it purely a business decision?
  7. Up until 6 min left in 1st period we were being outshot SOG 7-1. Now with a 3 min left 1st period SOG at 7-3 I believe.
  8. Just what in the heck is going on with Geno Crandell? Got like 80 total points in 3 games in the Hawaii tournament but since then, and especially of late, just not the same Geno. He hardly drives to the hoop anymore and seems to struggle at times just to reach a dozen points. He just doesn't look confident out there and confused with his role. Is he in Jones' doghouse?
  9. The play tonight though and for most of the season has been that of an average team, decent one night and so-so or even poor the next and that's been a very consistent pattern this. I did not assume for one minute that UND would simply just beat Omaha (to do so would be foolish), not based on the pairwise rankings, our play at home and lack of consistency. With out low end scoring/finishing this season, we are going to be in trouble most night when we give up at least 3 goals.
  10. It will be the typical "we will learn form this one game" that you seem to hear resonate 4 - 6 times every season.
  11. I only got to see the last period of the game but saw Neb had 3 goals on just 14 SOG, was he off? Certainly not grade A numbers unless they were grade A chances. With this team's lack of scoring it can ill affor to give up 3 or more goals in a game.
  12. Yeah, too bad though we just don't have much finishing/goal scorers despite all the highly rated recruits we land.
  13. You nailed it on the head, I've been wondering the same exact thing. And in today's game vs Eastern Europe he had 10 pts after 10 minutes then only got like 3 pts over next 20 minutes or so.
  14. They sure are. WTH has happened to Seales lately? Has he lost all confidence in his shot? He can't even hardly get a shot, let alone make one.
  15. Do I sense a bit of sarcasm (I sure hope so!) in that statement?
  16. What's Caggs stats on the year. Nothing great I assume (that's not a shot at him, just that I haven't seen anything on his numbers) but must not be too shabby?
  17. You could also say the same about women's ice hockey too. That's a real small pool of top teams every year.
  18. Yeah, so does Uranus
  19. How could UND come out to start the game in a coma? Standing around on defense, minimal hustle, ...And that 11-0 NDSU run to start the game is what sealed the win. Came close but never could quite get over that hump.
  20. Yah, how the hell is our PP coach keeping his job.....
  21. Not to argue, I still see good things next year but is UND in the BSC or Summit for v-ball? If Summit, Denver has been a real good team for past 4 years and I believe returns a lot of firepower so could be a tough battle.
  22. Agree although will be tough against a good W Mich team but hey, we're at home. We keep splitting (not sweeping) these series' and we will slowly slide in the PW.
  23. Simonson a forwar and doesn't have even 1 assist in well over 1/3 of the season? Yoy. And one o four top 3 goal scorers is a a d-man, Wolanin. I'm no great hockey mind but could UND afford to move Wolanin up to forward to increase his scoring production or would that short us on the back end? Just curious if something to consider in light of lack of production of many of our forwards.
