  1. 1.5 Million.
  2. Arizona State has shown game online for free, unless the Pac-12 Network is showing them then you pay for it.
  3. I'd take in this order: Miami, Western Michigan, ASU, Michigan Tech, and Bemidji. I've heard this too. If Mankato is added I see them being in the bottom three in the NCHC year in and year out. If they are throwing away NCAA appearances just to be in a tougher league, then I don't see the point.
  4. About 30 minutes south of Toledo Ohio on I-75.
  5. Mankato to the NCHC has to be killing Chris Dilks inside.
  6. To me this isn't a smart move by Mankato, as of right now they are playing for the MacNaughton Cup and Broadmoor Trophy. Two trophies they would never win in the old WCHA. If Mankato is added to the NCHC they would most likely finish above Western Michigan in the conference, in the race of who doesn't play UND, St. Cloud, or Denver in the first round of the playoffs. Out of all the WCHA teams I'd have in the NCHC is Michigan Tech, Mel Pearson has turn that team from finishing last to co-champs and should have gotten them in the NCAA's back to back years. Would Michigan Tech have success in the NCHC? Probably not. Mankato was the last D1 school to get any money from the state of Minnesota for improvements to their arena after they were suppose to get it. For Mankato the grass isn't always greener on the other side. I see Arizona making the jump before UNLV, because of how the Coyotes are trying to market hockey in Arizona. I think this was a done deal back when CHN posted their story. After the CHN story WCHA went quiet and the NCHC told Arizona State to keep quiet about the issue. Another thing that has delayed the announcement of Arizona State to the NCHC is that the NCHC doesn't want any conference games played at Oceanside Arena and wants those games at Gila River Arena or the new Coyotes Arena. I agree with you. Miami should try and talk Cincinnati to look into moving their club team to NCAA D1. Illinois State would be another good add for the NCHC to help Miami and Western Michigan. Illinois state has the USHL arena they could use and do play in. The next new programs are going to come from the West, Midwest, or Alabama. Those are the places new teams in the NCHC are going to come from, lets face it the NCHC wants to get Power 5 schools in the conference to combat the B1G when proposals come up for hockey. For a WCHA team to get added to the NCHC they are going to have to sell themselves really well to the NCHC front offices and current member schools. But I could see the NCHC take an Alaska school to help out the WCHA.
  7. More Coyotes/Arizona State arena news. http://www.bizjournals.com/phoenix/news/2016/07/12/arizona-coyotes-arizona-state-university-arena.html
  8. BC looses another, Zachary Sanford signs with the Capitals. BC lost 7 players early this season.
  9. Talk about the Coyotes and their AHL team (Roadrunners) could help Arizona make the move up to NCAA D1. http://www.azdesertswarm.com/other-sports/2016/7/9/12090562/arizona-coyotes-and-tucson-roadrunners-to-help-u-of-a-wildcats-club-hockey-program?_ga=1.226256857.2141686907.1465927109 http://www.azdesertswarm.com/other-sports/2016/7/10/12091850/tucson-looking-to-build-a-new-ice-rink-for-both-arizona-wildcats-and-roadrunners
  10. From the ASU vice president for real estate development said this. http://www.bizjournals.com/phoenix/news/2016/06/03/asu-developer-going-vertical-with-first-phase-of.html
  11. If the Oilers were worried about cap space then they should have traded away Nugent-Hopkins to the Devils and not Hall. Nugent-Hopkins isn't worth the money Hall is getting and why Yakupov is still on the Oilers roster shows they have no idea what they are doing. Yakupov is a bust and Nugent-Hopkins isn't much better.
  12. Of all the 1st rounders the Oilers have Yakupov would have been the one to deal away first. Here's to the Oilers being a joke in 2017.
  13. I'm sure someone on here knows the answer. Someone on USCHO Fan Forum said the Engelstad's have donated $114,000 to the UNLV club hockey team. On The Banks did a story on B1G facilities arms race. It doesn't look like anyone is looking to add hockey. Maryland's Cole Field House, which could have been renovated to a hockey arena, is being renovated into an indoor practice facility for football thanks to the Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank.
  14. I was just thinking this.
  15. T-Mobile arena is already built.
  16. Wouldn't Roslovic benefit more there then Miami?
  17. McCoshen signs with Florida.
  18. You forgot a FSN TV deal and some NCHC stuff.
  19. You don't need to get a passport you can get an ID card that is like a passport. I think the card is cheep let then the passport.
  20. More talk on Rutgers adding hockey. http://www.onthebanks.com/2016/6/16/11859110/rutgers-hockey-fundraising-big-ten-ncaa-hockey
  21. I've heard but haven't seen anything on it yet, Foley is planning on building a $17 million practice facility in Summerlin.
  22. Dan Gilbert owns the Lake Erie Monsters and Quicken Loans Arena, so I can see why he wants a NHL team in Cleveland. I could see Mike Ilitch finding a way to keep Dan Gilbert from owning a MLS team in Detroit. I don't see Portland getting an NHL team before Seattle. They don't even sell the upper level at the Moda Center for Winterhawks games.
  23. Michigan State has proved they don't care about hockey, Tom Anastos was given a contract extension until 2019-20. http://www.lansingstatejournal.com/story/sports/college/msu/football/2016/06/14/msu-board-vote-permanent-lights-spartan-stadium/85885940/
