  1. According to Wikipedia, streaming options for the actual CBS SN channel are fubuTV, Hulu Live TV, and YouTube TV. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CBS_Sports_Network

Sports options on Paramount+ includes some content that is broadcast on CBS SN, but not all. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paramount%2B#Sports_programming

Just a head's up for current non-subscribers, there will (potentially) be a lot of UND games in the next month on CBS SN, so it may be a good time to sign up.  This includes UND MBB vs. NDSU today (2/24), UND hockey vs. WMU next Friday (3/1), the Summit League championship games (3/12) (UND men are currently top of the standings), and of course the NCHC semi-finals (3/22) and championship (3/23).

Unfortunately not on Paramount plus. There is a cbs sports channel on roku. Sometimes the games are available without cable subscriptions but not always. I use a friend's dish network password and can watch on that.  The league should have required availability on Paramount plus.

My bad on that - I assumed since other CBS' sports broadcasts (and CBS programming in general) are available on Paramount Plus, I assumed that what's available on CBSSN was also on Paramount Plus.

I was thinking the same thing. He might be a good fit and a new set of eyes.

Having playing experience at both FBS and NFL should be nice addition.

Since I don't have subscription to the trib.  The highlights, please.  Everything I have read about him should be a good fit for UND.

Son of a highly successful high school coach.

Nothing was handed to him - always had to take the extra step.  Went to community college before Gophs.  Was on NFL training squad before making the roster.

Coaching philosophy in his own words:

"I'm trying to be the coach I always wanted as a player. That's detail, that's honest, that's high-energy, passionate and caring about the kids more than just catching a ball or making a block."

"We're going to do everything we can to be an exciting brand of football, and do it the right way, which is important to me."

"I told our offensive team the other day that everybody knows deep down in themselves that there's a right and wrong way to do things. I told them there's three things I care about: you're tough to fight through some adversity, to be disciplined and to be consistent."

Great article.  Looks like we got a good one.  Hopefully.

I guess I should say that it appears for sure we got a good person.  Hopefully he is also a good coach.

Hoping Denver can help UND out with a win tonight. If that happens, the Hawks control their own destiny

I could probably dig this up myself, but if someone knows what the next tie-breaker is after head-to-head, I'd be curious knowing.

Just when I was getting interested in attending the tournament - would like to feel we would be playing beyond the first round both women and men.

Yes, I was pretty hyped for the Summit Tourney as well.....until last Saturday.

Interesting. I didn't know that conferences could choose another way to select their AQ. I suppose if a conference used its regular-season champ for its AQ, the conference tourney would be irrelevant.

Someone can correct me if I cam wrong, but I think one of the primary reasons to have a conference tournament (and this would be for any conference in any sport) would be for the purpose of making money for the conference.  Technically, you could have a conference tournament (to make money) and choose your AQ by some other method, but that would be a little anti-climatic.  I think there may be some leagues that award AQ to regular season champ in some sports and eschew the conference tournament, but don't quote me on that either.

  9. I could see Omaha spoiling a UND party in Sioux Falls if they make the tournament.  They'd likely be a #4 seed, and if UND is a #1 seed, to avoid a conference match-up, UND would get sent somewhere else, presumably suburban St. Louis, as the eastern regionals will have plenty of eastern teams close by.  That would be the only scenario I see that would keep UND out of Sioux Falls.  Otherwise, the #1 seed in Sioux Falls would be a pretty steamed eastern team that would probably have to face a western powerhouse like UND, Wisconsin, or Denver as #2 seed in the regional final.  So, assuming playing in Sioux Falls is deemed an advantage for UND (I would say it is), getting Omaha out of the way is a good idea, assuming we remain a #1 seed.
