The BC rivalry was alive and kicking during the 2000s. Played them in the NCAA tournament in 2000, 2001, 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008.

This one surprises me. That would be like putting Duke vs North Carolina in the early window of the final four.

2006 and 2008 make sense, but 2007 was late game. I was at the St Louis F4 that year and I know I didn’t sit through a second game after UND lost.

I’m trying to think of a time when UND’s semifinal game was the early window. Anybody got some insight?

Could be why that game is early, and hoping for Michigan’s brand to attract a casual audience for prime time. I honestly think the Michigan/Denver game will be more entertaining. I’ll say we go 5-2 over the Badgers.

Agree with those who think Michigan. I l think Michigan will get it because of name brand appeal, but in a strictly hockey sense, a Denver/Michigan matchup is probably a more high flying showcase better suited for prime time.

I’d have to check to be sure, but I the NCHC has fewer conference games than the WCHA did.

First NCAA game against the Badgers since 2014, I am assuming? How many times has UND played Wisconsin in the NCAAs? 1982, obviously. 2008 and 2014 are ones I can remember.

Maybe with the angle of the two teams first and second most natties looking for the opportunity to add to their collection? Otherwise, it would be much bigger party atmosphere giving the Wisco/NoDak game to primetime.

Yes. Which is not either of the times given as options the other day. This is the worst I've ever seen for not knowing game times. I still don't think the national championship game time(s) they've been showing is correct.
