Very true, good post. I've tracked the BCHL for a while now, basically, kids have to put up video game numbers to be considered a higher end prospect. But even kids that can stick around a pt/gm or above pace can carve out good roles at the college level.

Abram Wiebe just committed....funny stuff I just noticed he was having a good start to the year and posted that we hopefully were watching some of these younger kids having success in the BCHL.

Benoit is not close to ready yet. I would assume Jake L. comes in. The early 04s are technically of age to come in, that would include Spicer as well. Ausmus has always been more of an offensive Dman but his numbers aren't that great this year (so far), I would assume he'd want to play another year of juniors. Blake will be coming in I would hope, that seems fairly obvious to me.

Some interesting 04s and 05s in the BCHL putting up decent numbers. I'm sure Bubs and team are in on some of them.

The 5x3 really hurt…especially considering both hits didn’t really seem like penalties. I was right there on the first. It was a click late I guess but they called the penalty because it was a bigger hit. 3 really bad goals plus the 5x3. The refs didn’t help us that much. We outplayed them 2 of three periods. Tough to come back down 2-0 instantly

WhT was wrong with Sanderson tonight? Best player on the ice and it wasn’t close…couple fumbles and the bad penalty at the end. But he was still the best hockey player on the ice. Hopefully they switch the second man assist to his on the first goal..that wasn’t schmaltz I don’t believe

We controlled second and third fairly easily. Psu is not a good team…they’ll be a middle to bottom end big ten team. Tendy was brutal tonight and we are just sloppy

I’ll say this…lacking serious skill at the F position. Goalie was not good tonight. positives: pp % this team will need to get lucky to get to the post season…next year too

We have a tough time possessing the puck against these guys. I mean…they appear way better than us. Score doesn’t show it but possession metrics have to be super lopsided. It all starts with possession…the more you chase the more things break down.
