  1. I really like the Top-9 tonight, each line has two very good players it. It should make for some very balanced scoring. Hopefully playing with Grimaldi and Mark MacMillan will spark O'Donnell, he needs to get it going.

That mark Mac Grimaldi line is 1b....mark Mac is so good, 20 lbs and he's in the show.

  2. So has every team in the country, including Minnesota. They still got the call right.

Oh and he didn't see it coming and turn at the last second. Never mind no one would intentionally put themselves in harms way with the chance to have their head slammed into the boards.

No they didn't they called a minor penalty a major...

  3. Wow...Hak really mixing it up.

Liked Drake and Rocco together w Rowney.

    Eh...Gleason at forward?

Gaarder and St. Clair out? Thought those 2 actually played ok last night.

Would have thought lines would be a little more solidified by now.

I agree....kind of confusing. I'm glad gothberg gets his shot...I've been feeling bad for him. From what I've heard he has played really well and he's confused as to why he hasn't played that much.

  4. UND Lines

    Mitch MacMillan-Knight-Kristo

    Caggiula-Rowney-Parks

    O'Donnell-Mark MacMillan-Grimaldi

    Senkbeil-Pattyn-Gleason

    MacWilliam-Mattson

    Simpson-Panzarella

    Forbort-Schmaltz

    Gothberg

    Saunders

    Maris

Out: Rodwell, Gaarder, St. Clair, Sanderson, Chyzyk

I had a feeling Gothberg would start. Hakstol did not sound very happy with Saunders after last night's game

Shocked that Mitch is on the first line...hopefully he plays well. Pretty balanced lineup tonight.

  5. I've watched the play a couple times and I don't really think it's a dive either but I think the issue is Budish turns at the very last second before being hit. I think the ref should have made a call but probably should have gave him 2 for boarding rather than giving the guy a 5 minute major.

Watched it again....u guys are correct it definitely was a penalty but not a 5

  6. That being said in the WCHA that's called everytime.....

Not sure about that....I saw the call...it was borderline. However, with a couple minutes to, in a tie game, you let borderline calls go unless there are multiple borderline calls. I felt bad for UAA. Seriously, in the first half of every year, MN gets every call to go their way....truth! Refs let teams play more towards the end of the year....that's when they start losing. Not sure about this year however, as they do have a solid team.

  7. .

CC player was playing the puck contact was both legal and proper. Ref was again the problem

Stupid Kristo penalty was very costly and honestly I'd sit him tomorrow night, he circled and went almost entire length of ice to make a run at the CC guy..unacceptable.

I thought I saw contact to the head....either way if you're a disciplined player u take 0 chances with 3 minutes left.

  8. O'Donnell finally getting the message sent to him. He looks like a different player this year than he was last year before he got injured. He had 5 goals prior to injury and he seemed like he was stronger and more cofident on the puck than he is this year.

He has a decent skill set and understands the game welll. Time for him to embrace this adversity and pick up his play for the second half. It starts in practice.

Agreed. And those 5 goals came in a short period of time. He only had 6 points or something in 16 games same as this year.....not very good at all for a forward...especially one getting top 6 pt
