TSN knows that Zellers is the man as he was their second intermission interview a couple of minutes ago.
I’m sure Bob was pissed

Has Emery played?
A ton more now that Hutson is out.

Some really questionable decisions with some of these UND players at WJC.
Verhoeff still not playing despite half of the Canadian d-corps looking like crap in yesterday's game?
Emery one of the better defensive dmen for US, but scratched yesterday and extra dman tonight?
Zellers moved off the PP despite leading the US in goals?
Zellers hasn’t touched the ice in the second period so far. 9 min left in the second
-
So after yesterdays game…Zellers gets pulled off the pp?

Yes he is. Wonder why?
He was basically the 7-8 D the whole time. US needs to get politics out of this. That’s what happens when your program becomes elite and there’s huge numbers

Emery getting scratched by gopher bob

Motzko will look for a way.
With how his current season is going, now (that the whole hockey world is watching) is not the time to get cute with his roster/deployment. Last night was fairly obvious there was favoritism going on.

How do you not put Zellers on the squad after the chemistry he had withe Lee?
I get its just Germany in an exhibition. Better test ahead with the Finns.
What’s funny is that Connelly got dinged up and they moved Lee up. This was sometime in the second.

Zellers should be top 6 on this team. Nothing can convince me otherwise. Mooney on top pp did nothing but hold pucks way too long. He’s skilled, but again, doesn’t really play a team game.

Zellers on the 4th, Emery on his off hand, heil not dressed? Motzco better not do what I’m thinking that clown is gonna do.

On another note, Carels looks really good

I'd say Heil is the better of the 3.
Of the 4 there they cut the goalie that has the better numbers this season.
I see goaltending the weakness of this team.
Reyelts was an odd cut…he’s been really good this year.

Verhoeff scratched tonight …Reschny, Mackenzie and Carels in

My theory? Team Canada will prioritize CHL players until they consistently get their ass kicked during international play. Thus, McKenzie and Carels over Verhoef
Unfortunately this probably has a lot to do with it.

Would be more beneficial for NHL scouts to have Verhoeff make the team over Smith, so they can see how he performs in the most pressure-filled games of his young career in front of all of Canada before his draft. To see how much value their future widget could bring to their team. Provided that he performs well in the exhibitions, of course. Plus he's a R-shot which would balance their lines more (Smith is an L-shot).
Verhoeff snuck through, Mackenzie made it as expected. He looked really solid last night. Curious if he’s top 4 come the real games. Hopefully we get him for more than a year

True (and satisfying), but the Big is very good this year, even with a teenie weenie Minnie.
Big10 is fairly stacked….and it will always remain that way

Wow Bobby…that’s a hometown call

Would hate to lose him because he obviously has some skill (2nd on Edmonton in goals), and his game really sounds like it matches our culture perfectly. Hope the communication with him and the coaches is open and honest.
He’ll be a bottom 6 guy at UND. IQ is so so, but he’s a physical freak. Super athletic.
