Actually I remember when there was talk about Lucia not getting his contract renewed....he brought back guenztel, got Potulny to recruit hard and now they are back and everyone has forgot about those years. Those two years where they didn't make the F5 were great.

I do somewhat agree with you here....there seems to be a motivational factor missing with his teams the last few years. Also, our team plays down to the competition 100% of the time. It's gotten frustrating.

Ok, my apologies. As for Blais, I for one think he is a great coach. I also think Hak is a very good coach, I am simply waiting on that next national title. I believe there are many coaches out there (given the luxuries of what UND has) that could take us into the post season year in and year out. However after a certain period of time, one has to consider whether it is a decent idea for a change. Do I think that is today.....no I don't. But after a 10-15 year range.....probably.

It appears they are tinkering to see who will play with Backer/Parise and Kesler/Kane. I, for one, would put Oshie back with Backes/Parise and keep Pac with Kesler and Kane. Brown shouldn't have made this team in the first place. Brown/Callahan/Statsny would be a great 4th though.

They were hot the last two games in '10....however it appears the lines were juggled again.

I'll give the guy a few more years (3-5) to bring one home. You simply cannot let a guy go that has his kind of track record on paper, it's simply not possible unless he chooses to leave.

Well we'll have to agree to disagree at this point. I had a laugh when you compared blais's record against UND.... you do realize the difference (or perceived in your case) between the two programs don't you?

Very true, the season is by no means over it was an ugly game that many teams have now and then. Again I am not on the fire hak train but he needs to pick his locker room up and get them ready for next weekend. I actually though that UNO was pretty good from an offensive perspective. Alright, nice debate guys I have a big game myself this morning..... with absolutely zero dump and chase hockey

The guy brought back und to greatness, turned the force into a decent franchise (yes I know they are bad this year 82), and is turning a Nebraska hockey program into a decent one. He has some awesome recruits coming in next year, are you even aware of this? That program was a laugher until he got there.
