Not sure I agree with you on the second statement...the chance of a skater hitting the net vs a goalie accidentally hitting the net is not even close (probably x100 or more). If you are talking about the MN game last weekend I really don't think Wilcox tried to kick the net off. On the flip side I do think the MSU guy deserves another shot. I would change your second statement to include a redo and if the goalie kicks the net off again then it's a goal.

The scary thing about the goofs is they simply do not lose. The past few weeks I have watched them and they don't look too much better than their opponents. A couple things I have noticed is their tendy is legit, they roll 4 lines with the best of them and they are probably the best in the country at blocking shots. I think this may be a down year for them offensivly. I haven't seen them dominate too many games and they are scoring more gritty goals than flashy ones. Again, they are extremely good at finding ways not to lose, even when they are not playing the best.

I don't really mean in 100 years he will be a legend, I'm simply throwing it out there (kind of a slang term) due to him playing for UND and him being the face of US hockey almost. I'm pretty sure Mr. Lemieux would disagree with you. Tough for me to say because Lemieux is my guy guy. For the record....Mario used to draw penalties with the best of them...diving, pulling opponents stick up around his face, etc all to draw penalties.

Forget about it I cannot remember. I am also not sure if the penalty was actually on him or if he was simply super pissed....I just remember the replay and we were all blown away by the phantom call.

I don't mind shootouts to end a minor tournament or regular season hockey game. It appears it's part of the game now so teams must adjust. However not doing a full period 4x4 like the nhl does is beyond me.

Get the O'donnell (I believe) clip....that one is a beaut. There was also a real bad one early....then the rest of the game the refs were searching for anything that fit one of their definitions.
