  1. But he’s been solid
  2. Sure, that’s what I’m thinking as well. Sorry, I was more thinking out loud rather than responding directly to you.
  3. They didn’t lose fri because Adams was in the lineup...and they didn’t win sat because he wasn’t in the lineup
  4. He’s had a few bad games but so has almost everyone. He’s even worse when playing a 4th line role. He should be on that line with Bowen and yon.
  5. How does Adams not get in the lineup?
  6. Oh boy, that’s good to hear. For a second there I was kind of worried about this weekend
  7. UNO is 4th in the country in goals for and dead last in goals against. Boy need to stay tough with their assignments/positioning. The goals will come if they lock down defensively. Don’t want to get into some wagon wheel hockey with these guys.
  8. Anyone know why BWC academy was in GF this past weekend?
  9. Good point. I noticed it Saturday night too. Bad bad rebounds. However he hasn’t played much recently. But you’re right. The thing is though, the team played with a great sense of urgency when he was in there. Not sure how long it can last but Bubs may want to keep it going another game.
  10. Yes he’s been average. But the special teams is atrocious. I say we focus on that.
  11. Agreed. Always a Sioux fan but still not going to get overly excited off the win. Have to see some sort of consistency moving forward. Would be nice to get some more guys back. We’re going to have to score some goals next weekend.
  12. I doubt it. Our problem is goal scoring and special teams.
  13. I just complemented you’re response. I never said cam has played great, I’m simply pointing out he isn’t the problem. Because he isn’t. If the team plays better in front of thome and he stops pucks...then you keep thome in.
  14. Well I’m neither. Cam hasn’t played great this year but he not he reason we’re average.
  15. This is a more intelligent response.
  16. Goaltending is not this teams issue.
  17. Ok now...this too much. He hasn’t had to do anything tonight. And his rebound control needs serious work. He just got tested and let one in. Not to be a hater but come on.
  18. I agree. The one thing I think that’s missing are recruits we’ve missed on because of the Hak departure....which is almost impossible to know. But at a high level, many of the recent high end recruits (from the US) are going elsewhere. We have gotten some nice young Canadians but they are super young. Worried about the next few years here. Hopefully we get Rizzo to come but how things are going now I would be surprised to see him go elsewhere.
  19. Agreed, I’m tracking the team over the course of the season (in chunks per se) rather than game to game. Right now it’s as ugly as I can remember. Even if they do win tonight there’s still serious concern. I mean, they have to win tonight, that’s expected.
  20. I’m more interested in the effort and coaching right now. Many people are locked in on recruiting (and I am too). But to be honest, running through CC’s team....they really don’t have one player outside of Bergh who was even remotely desirable. By any top notch school. That game last night had more to do with preparation and execution.
  21. Berry was the head recruiter and had been for years. But Hak was still the face of the program. I guess what I’m tracking is how that has, or will, change things.
  22. Actually you’re right, I forgot about the misplay behind the net.
  23. Yanking a goalie after two goals is quick...and one wasn’t even close to his fault. That IS a short leash.
  24. Agreed. But don’t downplay Haviland. He has multiple cup rings. And how was the program when he took it over?
