Not interested? This kid is going to go in the top ten this summer. Sure, I was interested but there was no chance we’d get him. But for discussions sake, why wouldn’t anyone want a kid with his talent? Regardless of when he would leave. As long as the player and coach are on the same page as far as when said player is leaving who cares , I’d take wahlstrom for the year and try and push another recruit back a year. The kid’s elite. Now if he’s a terrible locker room guy that’s entirely different.

Carle has actually been a very good recruiter lately...but has always had Monty to back him.

Norm Bazin to DU? Solid coach but that will rub some folks the wrong way.

I’ll be following Weiss as well. He had comparable numbers to Hain durinf the year...but Weiss looked much better in the u18 tourney.

They been following each other for a while now. There’s other schools involved too.

Strong may be a stretch but definitely not bad. Mancinelli’s numbers looked solid given the strength of the league he played in. If a guy like Rizzo commits here one of those kids will play an extra year of juniors. Caufield will be tested next year. I’d like to see Blaisdells numbers improve....and I’m sure they will.

He had something wrong with his shoulder alignment too. Supposedly this is all fixed. I saw him right before he signed....good sized lad.

Haha. I’m saying there are certain folks that post things to get a rise out of others. It goes both ways though, those folks bashing the recruiting need to relax as well. Every year we get good recruits. A couple months ago I pointed out that we don’t get nearly the number of blue chips that we used to during the early to mid 2000s. We finally got a natty though so there’s that.

Not sure how all this got so sideways but the genesis of this discussion had to do with Weiss not going to BU anymore. He’d be a solid college recruit, very solid actually. Not sure why these discussion always get so off track.

Sure. I’ve noticed that too. I think Weiss is ranked much higher than Hain on the iss rankings.

Hain is on the u18 team he is a higher end college recruit...same as Weiss. I believe Weiss has a higher ceiling (skates much better). I think the recruit convo had more to do with blue chips, which neither are. But I would really like to see Weiss come here rather than DU or PSU.
