I've have to think Faison was a pretty good idea which direction he's going, he's had a decent while to think about it.

Judging by it's gfhockey you'd think that'd lean towards Bubba... However it doesn't seem to fit the Faison style. Who knows though.

Knowing the current applicants, Pflugard is my favorite. It's going to be pretty rare in my opinion that we can steal a Griz coach. I think his transgressions are somewhere between black and white in the world of right and wrong. I have concerns over him, sure, but we aren't Texas sniping Nick Saban exactly, so nature of the beast. I have my doubts about the spread option working in postseasons, but it he builds from the line out it's pretty much a power running game with a much higher chance of turnover, and I know a lot here want smash mouth football. I am also concerned about the defensively. Maybe it's because I haven't seen one in years. Does anyone know what happened to his assistants at Montana? Were some retained? Do they have other jobs? Like has been said before, a lot of whoever the next guy's success may come just as much from how well he recruits other coaches, as much as recruiting players. Just trying to get a beat on who his possible candidates may be.

I have an interesting story in regards to the Cal Poly coordinator applied... I was front row student section for the Cal Poly game in 2011 (GWC year), and I recall correctly, that was the game Bradley got benched and Goska got us back in it. It looked like we were gonna win it for a while. In my student section days, I was pretty hostile and abusive while in the front row and did my best to distract the other team (how's your girlfriend and my kids doing kind of stuff). Here and there it may have gotten carried away. Some of the players in that game didn't take it very well. There was water thrown over the shoulder at us and stuff like that. After the play that sealed their victory, one of their offensive coaches turned around and just screamed obscenities at me and ***t talking (which I expected and deserved in the event of the loss), but the end to his rant was "You know what's sad?!?! you guys actually live in this ***thole, at least we get to go home!!!" I'll never forget it. I'm sure it was an offensive coach, as we were behind the offensive bench. Somehow, I'm guessing it wasn't the OC, but it was an older staff member.

Got some information from a defensive player at Mt. St. about Marshall. Said in general he liked him though. Said one thing he hated though, was that he would NEVER make in game adjustments, but that was kinda a system wide thing.

I realize that, but I hoping someone followed the trial and stuff. There can be a large difference between being not guilty (OJ) and not guilty (Duke Lacrosse). I was just wondering if anyone who followed it could shed light. I realize that a jury wouldn't.

Thanks for the article. Wow. I know it could be homer journalism, but it kind of eases my mind. Does anyone know if Johnson was just acquitted or found innocent? If he was found innocent (conclusively, or relatively) it kinda puts Pflu (already on the Hammer nickname) in a different light. Him sticking by one of his athletes despite outside pressure would say a lot... If he was right. Obviously a huge if. I don't want anyone to think I take the accusations lightly.
