The "West" region is in the Eastern time zone. Virtually every west team has to get on a plane every year. BS if BC doesn't have to travel this year.

Comcast here in Denver only shows the games in Grand Rapids televised (thus far). Silver linings I guess.

I love that they haven't won a title in 7 years, but they are God's gift to the WCHA because UND hasn't won one in 12 years. It's 7-7 period.

The Gwoz stunt was awesome. I was laughing when DU fans were shocked at how "poorly" Gwoz was treated.

I am starting to hate DU more then the Goofs. You would think they won the Stanley Cup everytime they score a goal. Plus for having such a good team, they have one of the most annoying fan bases comprised of old alums and dudes who couldn't afford to go to school there.

I know in Denver it isn't very hard to get tickets as long as you get tickets when they go on sale. The games against UND sell out quick, so they get pretty expensive as the series gets closer if you have to buy on stubhub. Typically section 6 (UND Section) sells for about $18 if you buy them through DU. Once the game is sold out, they sell from $30-$50 a piece. Always a fun time at Magness. UND has quite the showing.

If it were Wisconsin and UND leaving, the Gophers would have done the exact same thing w/ DU. Don't tell me otherwise. They think they are the hockey gods and everyone else should just fall in line. Tired of Minnesota playing the innocent victim here. They didn't support the smaller schools in their own state like UND has/will. Sick of this arrogance that Minnesota is doing everyone else a favor by scheduling them. Talk to me when your BC.

MN and Wisoconsin leaving the WCHA, put UND and DU in this position. UND and DU have to look out for what's best for them....and they did. You need to direct this towards the Big 10, not UND and DU. End of story. It is what it is...lets move on. What's the timeframe for announcing the NCHC tourney location?

I love the previous post with the Buffalo Bills reference. Given our record over the past decade, we are the Atlanta Braves of the 90's. One title, and bunch of "oh-so-close" years. We need to start sealing the deal. On another note, I loved the point earlier about the 15+ NHL draft picks. NHL draft picks / potential NHL talent doesn't translate into titles. If we look at the 97 and 00 title years, the only NHL player that has made an "impact" is Jason Blake (please correct me if I am wrong). The services of Oshie, Toews, Parise, Zajac etc...got us close, but it didn't seal the deal. We need a mix of NHL potential, but we need more of the players that are more likely to stay 4 years or at least 3 years. I worry about picking up the rental players, like Seth Jones. I would love to have him, but I hate seeing players leave after one year. I know it is a far more complicated than this, but thought I would just throw it out there. Regarding the Sioux Nickname issue.....If the vote decides to prolong this issue and we lose out on playing Wisconsin and Minnesota on an annul basis, it will be damaging to our program. I know we can stand on our own in the NCHC, but playing Denver, CC, Duluth, etc isn't going to cut it in terms of national exposure. I am worried about recruiting if we don't have the Gophers and Badgers on the schedule. Do you think it matters to Minn recruits if the Gophers aren't on the schedule?

So is Kristo 100% gone? Even with Nelson gone (which I am still scratching my head over), we will be stacked if Kristo stays. We will be fine either way, but next year has the potential to be special if he stays. Please stay Danny!!

I won't rub it in their face, but it so awesome to watch the Gophers get absolutely embarrassed. So awesome. Gopher fans just think they are God's gift to the sport. This is glorious.

I cannot cheer for the following teams (in this order): Minnesota, DU (HATE their fan base), and BC. By that ranking, it looks like I have to cheer for BC tonight. Go Ferris State tomorrow!!! DU is rapiding becoming my most hated.
