1 glaring concern that I have coming in is that the last 2 games have not been good for us at the free throw line. I am hoping this is just a small blip on the radar and this is not starting to become a trend at the line once again.

A lot of message boards are saying that the UMKC move to the WAC is coming within the next 48 hours. I think also Izzo had a tweet about this going down as well. a tough road swing to the Montana schools is on tap this week for the UND bball team. They start their voyage in Bozeman as they take on Montana State. A very crucial game for both squads. Montana State has a chance to put some distance on UND and for a top 4 seed in the conference tourney. UND has a chance to get a nice road win and more importantly have a tiebreak over MSU. Im sure if USD had a home game, and not a road one we would have gotten them instead. Oh well Not going to complain, lets just pound them into submission when we play them and move on

The Montana/Davidson and SDSU/Murray State games already make me drool with excitement. Two great coaches and a great envrioment in Davidson, and two awesome guards in Wolters and Isaah Cannon in the SDSU/Murray State game. Creighton/St. Mary's will be awesome as well. I kinda wanted to see NDSU get UNI, but Akron will be a good challenge for them. Wonder if they would have Braun back for that one.

Nice to see the women finally sweep Mankato. Now they need to do the same this weekend against the Beavers. Getting these 6 points will be very critical in our push for not only a 1st round home series but trying to finish 2nd and get a more favorable match up with BSU or St. Cloud. Such a weird night at the REA: premature horns, misconducts, confused goalie, Rocco turning into a feisty honey badger, swimming and diving teams, a tie, etc. etc. etc. Anyone else think Zane gets the nod again tomorrow night? Gotta get the W tomorrow night, I know of several students that I talked to over the last 2 days pretty much saying we need to sweep these guys.well we can't do that, but we cannot have another 1 point weekend like others have been saying.

Women got a nice 4-2 win against Mankato tonight, hopefully they can complete the sweep and put the curse of the cows to rest for a year. 2nd-5th place is very tight with Duluth, OSU, Wisconsin sitting at 37 points and us with 36. A win at least puts us in 4th because Wisconsin has played 1 more game than the rest of this group of teams

Ran into a UND Athletics person at the hockey game tonight and posed that question, was told that a motor was burnt out and caused the basketball to be stuck Thursday morning during their shootaround. He wasn't very happy that this occured yesterday.

I think this is a very good opportunity for a big time statement win tonight. We need a similar performance to what we did against PSU. I think Huff will have another monster game, and I think Anderson snaps out of his little funk. What I will be looking for is major contributions from everyone else. Can Lenny come off the bench and hit a few 3's. Can Schuler step up and give us 10-12 points. Can Webb play at a high level tonight? Can Wilmer give us some much needed post play? Can Benton give us some quality minutes? With a team like Weber, you need a team effort to pull it off. We cannot afford any long droughts or we will be done for. Shooting 30% like last time will not get it done. I will be at this game, cannot wait for the festivities tonight. Lets see if we can't get a raise out of the student section for once (wishful thinking on my part)
