I think it might have been this: he thought Huff step out of bounds (which was bull because from where I was in the student section he was clearly a full foot inbounds) and he just went off for like 4 minutes on that.

The one result I didn't want to see this weekend was Wisconsin sweeping UMD. Duluth being swept absolutely killed us. Not much we can do about it, just gotta take care of business in Duluth this weekend and get the sweep and clinch the 2 seed in the WCHA tourament. Reading into it that might just be enough to jump back into 8th in the pairwise. From that point, sweep whoever we get in the first round, beat Wisconsin in the semis and that just might be enough.

UND takes down OSU tonight and pulls off the sweep. The Buckeyes pulled the goalie and tried to tie up and got 2 great looks, but Amsley-Benzie turned them away and seal the W for the home team. With Duluth losing tonight, it gives UND at least the 3rd seed in the WCHA tournament.

Im sorry, but there is ZERO excuse for dropping this game today. I understand the fact that we were really playing this game with only 7 guys, but still when you are in a position to win the game at the free throw line and you do not come through.... Had a chance to get that separation, and now you are dragged into the mess with 3 out of the next 4 conference games on the road. Biggest stat I felt was the last 4 minutes at the free throw line. Team: 17/23 Last 4 minutes 4/9 5 out of the 6 total misses from the line was within those 4 minutes and our best free throw shooter went 2 for 4....

I expect UND to win, they know how important this game is to them and they will play like it. Huff, Webb and Anderson have huge games and they will win by about 10.

To say that this is a huge game for both teams is a understatement. A UND win would put us at 9-7 and all but assure us a spot in the Big Sky tourney. A loss would put us back into the mess of teams fighting for spots. NAU could salvage a road trip with a big win at UND to keep the last spot in the tourney locked down to them, but a loss could have the the 1st team out. Simply put boys, keeping winning and stay away from the fray from 5 down to 9 in the standings

Would not be shocked if that stretch of Interstate is still closed through tomorrow (at least on the SD side of the border). There is still plenty of blowing snow across NE SD and with all those hills between Watertown and the ND/SD border and all of that snow from not only this event but from the late January snow still around that area, it can drift pretty fast and re block the roads pretty fast. Just peaking at the cameras between Watertown and ND/SD border, it looks like the plows haven't even been out yet.

Congrats to her! both OSU and Duluth lost tonight but Wisconsin won so the lead stays at 2. Duluth plays Mankato tomorrow afternoon UND 45 (4 left) WIS 43 (4 left) UMD 37 (5 left) OSU 37 (4 left) We get Ohio State on home for the last regular home series of the year. a win would clinch home ice. Lets try and get butts in the seats next weekend if you aren't going to the concert at the Alerus, come down to the Ralph and get behind the girls 1 more time.
