  6. UNI 10 UND 2 15:57 1st Get your heads out of your butts
  7. Huff to the line for 2 makes both UNI 7 UND 2 17:24 1st
  8. UNI off to a 4-0 start We look a little sluggish....
  9. HA! You blew my cover! In all seriousness I hope NDSU does well in the CBI, I think they will do some damage and wouldn't be shocked if they were one of the last 4 teams left.
  10. UND (16-16) gets to play a little bonus basketball for the 3rd year in a row. The first round opponent is a familiar one as they head on down to Cedar Falls, Iowa to take on Northern Iowa (18-14) in a rematch of earlier in the year. First Matchup on November 17th UNI 72 UND 47 When these two teams met, it was an absolute disaster for UND, when you have the following: Troy Huff out with his broken jaw Jamal Webb coming off the bench and playing ineffective after serving a 1 game suspension Brekke ineffective with foul trouble Wilmer not playing inspired ball on the inside Despite only being down 11 at the half, things got really ugly in a hurry in the 2nd half. Aaron Anderson paced the team with 12 points, and Antwi and Traylor chipped in 9. Both teams since them have gotten better. UND, now at full strength sans Traylor, is playing their best ball of the season right now. UNI looked to do some big things in making a charge at a NCAA bit, but being bounced in the first round by Illinois State left them reeling. Nevertheless, they are still a dangerous team that has knocked off several NCAA teams and nearly bagged a couple of giants (Louisville) during the year. It will not be an easy game UND needs to learn how to beat these types of teams to better prepare them for next year and I am sure coach Jones is a little tired of having that 0 fer on his record against his alma matter. Hopefully, this is a start of a nice little run in the CIT and the beginning of the build up for 2014.
  11. Thinking of next year, its not too hard to not think of next years schedule and think who could potentially be on it. 20 Big Sky games Home non-conference NDSU SDSU UNO? (if they make up their bracketbuster return here instead of 14-15) Road non-conference @ Bowling Green So if this holds, it would leave about 6-8 openings on the non-conference schedule, what would be your wish list of teams?
  12. That what I take from it, the CIT follows the old school NIT format which there is no pre-set bracket and the results of the previous round sets up the next round match ups.
  13. Hooker was picked as 1st Team All-Metro in the Star-Tribune. He was the only senior on the first team, the rest are the studs from the 2014 class. http://www.mnbasketballhub.com/news_article/show/239994?referrer_id=198777 The blurb on Hooker: Quinton Hooker Park Center senior point guard Perhaps the state’s most underrated talent. Hooker’s senior year never had a letdown and kept Park Center atop the rankings most of the season. Led his team in handing Apple Valley its only defeat this year, and also ousting defending champion Osseo in the section finals. Natural scorer (25 points per game) who sacrifices some of that to get his team more involved. Averages 10 assists, nine rebounds and four steals per game. College: North Dakota His Park Center team has the #2 seed in the Class 4A state tournament that starts tomorrow. His team drew Lakeville North in the first round. Should they win, they will have the semis and finals on TV in Minnesota or can be found here (http://www.prep45.com/) Most people believe that it will come down to Apple Valley or Park Center for the 4A class title.
