Hak has enough brain matter to do the right thing. What Hak did here along with Dale (who remembers when he bounced at the Spud Bar?) and O'Keefe and the posters here kept their convictions but are willing to sacrafice them for the good of the whole. What Hak and most everybody here has done is show a complete lack of selflessness. I don't think Hak sold out at all. He was being a pragmatist.

Gino was more of a product of good assistants than his talent as a coach. When Dean left the first time the program went downhill.

And I like Blais better than Gino but still like Gino better than Hak.

The problem with downtown St. Paul is there are only what 5 hotels. HI, Kelly Inn, Hilton Garden, Crown Plaza, and Embassy Suites if I am not mistaken. Why not just stay somewhere besides downtown St. Paul? This is a very nice hotel in Bloomington "Sofitel Minneapolis". Are you afraid to drive in Minneapolis?

Simple general question as to how strong people are in their convictions to walk away from a salary of 300K with lots of fringe.

In your wildest dreams. Take off the depth perception blinders for a minute and think about it. Not everyone worships the ground he walks on as you do. How many Frozen Four failures? How bad he got outcoached by Red last year, he looked like a deer caught in the headlights during that game? Don't think that all that would not count outside of GF.
