  1. Schleusner is an Illinois recruiting guru so I'm sure the chest bump is from there. Any big time guys from there make a visit this weekend?
  2. It's amazing, but they ran the fb up the middle all day right at him. Thats three games worth of tackles but it shouldn't be compared to numbers against a normal team since they forces fed their beast fb up the gut all day.
  3. Mattson didn't make his usual plays so this could be a nice switch for a little more physicality back there.
  4. After seeing that play and seeing no coach chewing major ass on that moron makes me cheer for Ill St in this one.
  5. EWU KR guy cocks off and lets go of the ball at the 1/2 yard line and EWU gets stuffed and has to settle for a FG........
  6. Looking at the verbals so far, this class looks pretty nice. K/P Mitch Meindel (WI) has a good ol' Howitzer for a leg. FB Dustin Iverson (ND) good athletic FB and a local kid. OL Dan Bell (WI) good size and potential. DL Brandon Miller (WI) very nice size for a DT, looked like a beast on his film. RB Jake Disterhaupt (MN) He's the next Travis Beck. If we can get another couple beast on the DL and some mean LBs along with the other needs (DB, OL, speed) this class is already shaping up quite nicely.
  7. He's the next travis beck.
  8. It was tipped at the line
  9. Senkbeil terrorized DU last night. He's improved by leaps and bounds. He should try and craft his game into a Malone type of style. Haven't noticed Chyzyk this year. What's the latest word on Parks?
  10. Rocco needs to get one in the net tonight to get out of his funk. He's pressing and creating but things just aren't going his way yet. When he does score I expect him to explode offensively as he gets his flow back.

  12. For some reason this guy doesn't seem to be a big get. Maybe he's just a good under the radar guy. I'm sure nobody in Fargo was doing backflips when they landed Beck.
  13. I'd probably end up converted to D to move Wentz up the depthchart
  14. but all he does is win
  15. sooooo, this new recruit. seems pretty decent. who else was after him?
  16. Msu looks like a southern team playing their first cold weather game.
  17. Random question. Is there a list of all players from the 1987 team that played in the NHL and which team they played for?
  18. So either NDSU had better players and worse coaches or just plain worse players in the 90's. I wonder which one is true?
  19. Unfortunately his long jump is only 19' 2"....
  20. Healthy kleason at guard with a developing Anderson with walker in the middle and you've got a supremely athletic interior. Mcgurran was good but slow as molasses same with gilson.
  21. We better get this guy if it comes down to us and Central Michigan.
  22. Is he more of an olb type of player? Lots of discrepancy on his listed height.
  23. I say screw going the JUCO QB route. Look at the guy that went to PSU who broke Aaron Rogers' records. He got beat out by a true freshman that wasn't nearly the recruit that Bartels and Mollberg were. On one hand I wouldn't mind giving the keys to the program to Mollberg and Bartels and have them gain maximum experience and lead the team for four years. If it worked out that would be fantastic to have a face of the program type of QB for a long tenure. On the other hand getting a good FBS dropdown like Hanson to be a bridge to the future QBs would be nice with the WRs we have next year. For comparisons sake Shortell was ranked 22nd/58th by rivals/scout and was a 3 star recruit while ESPN gave him a 74 grade and 2 stars. Hanson was ranked 34th by scout and a 3 star with ESPN giving him a 74 grade. Ironically Joe Mollberg also was graded as a 74 by ESPN with 2 stars (impressive for a guy from Detroit Lakes to be on ESPNs radar.) For us to get a dropdown they better be very good or it won't be worth it since Bartels and Mollberg are very good young QBs and either could develop into a cornerstone for years to come. I think it may be a red flag that he only had an offer from UM.... Hanson had offers from Iowa Wisconsin UNC Missouri and other good schools.
  24. Lets play next year. If you guys win or even kick ass it wouldn't be the first time and would get the ball rolling for continuation of the series. All the pressure would be on NDSU and UND would be massive underdogs so why not?
  25. buttretractableroof and buttundergradadmissions are missing from your list
