I'm not sure that's fair. The play of the secondary improved as the year went on, a little sure but it was better. They played an above average second half at unc and forced turnovers and had a very impressive goal line stand to keep the game within reach. Don't forget the injury situation. The defense was decimated by injuries. That usually doesn't happen two years in a row.
Works out well for the raiders doesn't it. Quality programs pro and collegiate have one thing in common and that is consistency in the coaching staff. They don't go around firing guys for a couple bad years because they know it takes time for a coach to imprint his style on a team and being trigger happy sets the program into recession.
I wonder what tourney gets better tv ratings and coverage? The highest level of college athletics known to man d1 hockey or the lowest of the low fcs football? Stop being jealous of ndsu and posting insecure things in a pathetic attempt to belittle their success
These guys seem like better joe kleasons coming out of high school. Say what you want about how average the line was last year (which they were) but that was because of kleasons missing most of the season. It was amazing to see him step in a become a shut down left tackle after his injury and playing guard the two previous years. We need more of those dancing bears and fewer stagnant mountains like Gilson
Problem is that Und didn't play Texas tech the year before. I wasn't impressed with 'hanging with' a team that was average and vastly underestimated Und.
That's more of a high school thing. One is that the camera is lower in the stands and make the trajectory appear more steep and also the dbs are slower so you can actually lob the ball more and get away with it.
It's either sign a guy a year or two every other. You just need to find the guys that are confident enough to compete. Also the quality of depth will affect how many and how often you sign qbs. Right now we need another body not another cornerstone so maybe pick up a pow guy again.
