Tony's aunt never had to toil in the echl. Straight to the league.

Best of luck to him. Seems weird that he would want a job like that. I guess Und will have three new coaches for next season. Anyone know of any hot offensive coordinators out there? Or any te coaches? Also I wonder if Freund will stay at qb coach or go back to rb coach. He's young but you can bet he knows how to qb a team.

Or you recruit guys that aren't afraid to get dirty and work

Because sometimes doing the easy thing isn't always the best thing. What's wrong with building character and team chemistry?
-
It's the same turf ndsu has on their field. It's easy to clear with a bobcat with the spinning brush attachment. That stuff is not new nor are they worried about what a bobcat would do to it as evidence of the picture of coach Breitbach using a snowblower on it which I would guess could do more damage that the bobcat.

New carpet you say? Care to tell me when they installed this 'new carpet' at memorial?
-
So lets take a step back and look at this situation with the snow. If mussman wanted the snow gone by today all he would have to do is pick up the phone and it would be done. Maybe he had the crazy idea that it would be a good team building exercise to kick start spring ball and show anyone with a prima Dona attitude that they aren't above humble tasks like shoveling snow off of the field. I like it. Anyone who thinks its because the football team is that far down the list of priorities is kidding themselves.

What's wrong with a humbling team building exercise? I think it's awesome. It's a bit of a tradition that if there is snow on memorial when spring ball is starting the team shovels the field. This isn't the first time.

It's better than last years by far. Probably better than Rocco's year after the two defections also.

Hook line and sinker. It's funny. Just like the Hakstol memes last year about him not always taking time outs, but when he does his team scores six unanswered goals.

With all due respect to our awesome former logos and nickname, they mean nothing without amazing hockey and football teams that played smash mouth stomp on your throat take on all comers style with all out effort and the type of heart that can make up for a gap in talent. 'Sioux hockey' has nothing to do with a nickname. It's a culture that the nickname was associated with. The nickname was special no doubt but it was the pride of the players and work ethic that won games not a cartoon or a nickname. Time to stop that excuse and all others. Yesterday was obviously unacceptable but so was half of this season. It's on the players and a little on the coaches. There are a lot of guys that need to grow up ( mark McMillan) and play sioux hockey all year instead of one day a week two weekends a year. The guys on the team with grit didn't have enough skill and the guys with enough skill didn't have enough grit with the exception of a few players. It's on them to fix it before next year or they'll end up like Bochenskis fr year.

We ran into a hot post 4 times

I thought knight and Kristo and Mac were awesome players at Und. Rowney was a very very average player and Gleason was godawful and cost us games this year. Much better forward. It was nice to have a few high end guys stick around like we all wish Oshie and gregoire and Hextal and others had.
-
How do we explain the worst power play ever? Seriously wanted to break things when we were on pp this spring.
-
It ain't 2005 anymore
-
Lets hope for the knee cap.... We could really use him next year on the line.
-
Anyone think Und needs to start to change philosophy away from the awesome cycle that we're known for and more towards a more skilled bc style of play? The rules are starting to make playing really physical a disadvantage at times. Maybe we could find a happy medium between us now and high flying skill reliant teams like bc.
-
Look at the recruits we have coming. Hak can recruit.
-
Kristo and knight, with the exception of a goal each, did next to nothing this weekend. Especially Knight. He did not look like a Hobey candidate. Both he and Kristo were slow and not very dynamic today.
-
For the spring. He's got a big ol boot. He's been the emergency backup punter since he got here.

Is it on your lower back?

NORTH DAKOTA vs. NIAGARA - Friday, 4:30 espnU

No way in hell drake is out. He played great and was not scared of the moment at all. I loved his grit and willingness to make things happen. Next year he will be a stud and tomorrow he will make a big impact. Love how he played. If I was coach he'd be on the second line.
