  1. Wasn't it against Floyd Patterson?
  2. Not at all a crappy deal. He is damn lucky. That hit was directly to the knee with the leg planted in the ground. He's very lucky nothing tore.

  4. It gets the people going
  5. Ratelle and Reyes could end up with massive numbers after this game.
  6. When I was a rug rat I would always meet up with friends on the track at Memorial and go right behind the opposing teams' players sitting on their bench. We were maybe 9-10 and would yell things at the opposing OL about how fat they were. One time a hog from Augustana turned around after a good hour of "hey, 72, hey 72, hey 72....... you're fat." and yelled at us to shut the f up. One of his coaches chewed his ass big time as we stood there laughing. It's right up there with the times we would throw snow balls at the refs and opposing players.
  7. Wow, I thought he looked slightly familiar. Those boys have enormous heads. If he's as tough as Brandon then I have no doubt he'd handle most opposing teams players.
  8. He looks like a BIG farm boy, I'm sure he would hold his own and then some.
  9. I know right, if you think using the same mascot as a high school is bad stealing the logo from a youth hockey organization is a great alternative
  10. Well at least that big dude who likes to ham it up for the cameras will be missed.
  11. Yea all 150 of them will be missed.
  12. There were some very nice play calls by Ol' Rudolph on Saturday. Crazy what happens when the players become capable of execution what can happen.
  13. Oh look, the next generation of fighting hawks
  14. Shoulda scored like at least 60 on Saturday.
  15. SDSU will be outbid because their stadium is closed for construction and they would have to host in Sioux Falls
  16. NDSUs first home playoff game in over 20 years had terrible attendance. It's not an indication of support. It's just a tough weekend.
  17. Looks like a decent paper match up to me. Our style is perfect to counter theirs. Our d was designed to stop their o. Let's hope we play with our hair on fire out in sunny SLO and beat the piss out of them. It's long overdue, they've had our number recently.
  18. Faison better pony up.
  19. And that's without Arnell and Rich.....
  20. I just wanted to highlight how dominant our defense was against a pretty good UNC offense. Obviously we had three picks and 2 fumble recoveries. We wanted it more and put them into the fetal position in the second quarter. We also finally scored a defensive TD. So we gave up 275 yards, that's really good. 170 passing yards and 105 rushing yards. Our d backs FINALLY had them locked down and were a strength instead of a liability. Things seemed to have finally clicked for these guys. They now have confidence. This is huge for our team defense. No longer can teams count on max protection and chuck and duck passing to beat us. Throw it deep if you wish but it's at best 50/50 now where it used to seem like 90/10 in favor of the WR. Back to the yards. I'd like to point out that they only scored on our third string guys. Two late drives, the only points they scored. As for the yards those last two drives accounted for 139 of the 275 yards allowed total. In other words, the starters gave up 136 yards.... 136 total yards to a team with a pretty decent offense. That's pretty damn good and a sign of what our defense is capable when relatively healthy. This same UNC team just put up 35 on Portland State with 483 yards of offense. We were lights out yesterday. The third string defense gave up 83 rushing yards on those last two drives. That means the starters and second string guys only gave up 22 rushing yards. Even better is the pass defense stats. The starters and second string only gave up 114 passing yards. I don't recall a game in years where we were so dominant against both the run and pass. It seemed to be the norm where we as fans would cross our fingers hoping the other team would be dumb enough to try and run the ball. And if they dropped back to pass we would just helplessly hold our breath. I hope this is a sign of things to come.
  21. Also does anyone think Santiago has a chance to beat out Cookus for ROY in the Big Sky and Nation?
  22. Literally unacceptable. No excuse. But I do wonder how many yards he could have had if he was given the ball 18-20 times. I'm selfish and want him to be an all american as a trfr.
