The end of the second and the beginning of the third was the worst hockey I've seen from this team this season. Worse than against Wisconsin. It was putrid. On our heels, desperately bombing pucks down the rink for icing after icing, gliding to the puck. It really was terrible to watch because we had just been pounding them for most of the second period. We can't afford to do that on Saturday or the streak will extend.

One thing that needs to be in the back of everyone's mind is that you notice things that happen to your team so it seems like it only happens to them. It happens to everyone. NDSU loses really good players every year. They had a kid that was a 3 star recruit out of Arizona that their fans thought was the second coming when he committed and now he's not on their roster anymore. It even happens to the 5 time defending champs so I wouldn't worry too much about this. It's not the same as it was under Muss. Those days are long gone. In Bubba we trust.
