I wouldn't touch Connor. I he didn't fight for the puck when he was knocked off of it. He's just not a competitor like Compher was. All of our guys fight like mad for the puck. I'd rather have Simo than Connor. He's tough and sets a tone.

For the first time in years I can look at the DBs on the roster and honestly say they are experienced and talented. What a relief. It took way too long but it's finally time to have high expectations for this position group.

Compher was the only play from that line id want to wear green. He was a competitor. Connor avoided contact like Brain Lee. Knocked off the puck by the slightest nudge. He was scared of the boards. His skill was noticible but unless he commits to both zones he'll get exposed in the NHL. That's why he's no Eichel. He doesn't do the dirty work.

It seems like the stars are aligning to give us one tough ass path to a title. The nice thing is that we have teams in our way that we would like to even the score with. Already took down ol Blue in payback for 2011. Next up is Denver from 2005. Then there's the possibility of BC in the title should be both make it. That would be revenge for the last 15 years basically. It makes for great matchups no matter how you look at it. The way Berry had his team playing to close out that last game gives me faith. Let's hope they get it done in Tampa.
