    Beer

Because it makes them feel like men for a change when they drink it.

    Beer

Had a nice beer surprise the other night. Saw a sixer from Rougue of some lager I'd never heard of, Hot Tub Scholarship Lager, on sale for $6. I gave it a go and it was a really good beer that tasted like beer. No gimmicks just straight up beer. Just an easy drinking and smooth Munich Helles style lager.
  4. That really might not even be that bold of a prediction considering we almost did it last year with the OL struggling most of the season. Heres a question: has there ever been a team with 3 1000 yard backs?
  5. Our OL is a question mark until they prove otherwise.
  6. I'm looking forward to the clash of the Titans, aka the Grady Train vs huge Samoan DLs.
  7. They had 5 DL on the pac12 all conf teams. 3 were seniors. The best and biggest in my opinion will be back....he was a fresh all American , 1st team PAC 12 as a soph and possibly injured last year....Hon mention PAC 12 as a jun. He's a 6'3" 320lb senior. His partner is a 6'3" 290lb senior....HM PAC 12. Big big Samoans!!! They also bring back DE (ucla transfer) that was inj game 3. He was leading the team in sacks and TFLs before the injury. He will be a senior as well. They will be very difficult to run against. They lose their entire o line except one. Glad to get them in first game of season. They have only 4 upper class men here ....2 sen 2 jun. Our quickness could create problems for them. Their secondary loses 5 of top 6 guys...but the one coming back is a stud ...6'3" 220 jun. need to be able to pass on them They return a first team all American punter.....field position field position field position!! They are going up tempo this year and they are built for it.....the majority of the skilled guys are smallish....5-9ish 175 lb ish. Quickness. und brings back a ton of experienced men ....and they know how to win. cant wait!!! I posted this back in April in a different thread. My take is the same today: Utah will very difficult to run against, not only for UND, but for any team. Their DL does not get pushed around...they do the pushing. Keaton and the passing game need to be playing at a high level for UND to have any chance of a victory. Keeping Utah honest is a must! I would like the TEs to be used early and often and a ton of screen passes to say Santiago or Cam. Three and half yards each play, all day would make me smile. They need to burn the clock and keep their offense off the field. I have knocked Rudolph almost every game since his arrival....hope I don't after this game. I really want to see UNDs quickness at the LB positions to be the strength against these guys. They could exploit the massive inexperienced o line of the Utes. I like the backers in this game. Schmitty will get the most out of his players, so I'm not worried about focus, discipline and being game ready. The secondary will be tested, well UND has two pre season all Americans in the secondary plus a very talented true sophomore. If UND can get pressure around the edges, I like UNDs secondary against a completely revamped offense. UND needs to make their qb twitchy and jumpy from the gate. UND returns a ton of players that have started 3 or 4 years now. Senior class is seasoned and seems to be a lot of leadership within that group. It will take a massive doing to leave Utah with a victory but this is Unds most talented and experienced team to date. Don't forget about Tyus Carter.
  8. Thanks for the objective run down. And also for not being the typical FBS douche who acts like Bat Dad from South Park.
  9. Also a name pronunciation explanation for half your players would be appreciated.
  10. How about a full roster break down with a list of studs?
  11. You guys gonna be good er what?
  12. As weird as that TE from Stony Brook?
  13. FWIW I haven't heard that he's not.
  14. And it only took 16 years
  15. Check out my post.
  16. That will be their welcome to hell moment. I remember guys thinking they were in great shape when they came in. Get the garbage cans ready, Baukol's workout tempo is a different animal.
  17. I thought about throwing him in there. I just don't know what the role of the TEs will be in the offense this year. I'd love to see them really utilized in that awkward mid range passing game that kills defenses.
  18. I wouldn't call him a newcomer. I'd call him a potential new impact player. Perhaps that will have its own thread one day...
  19. I would pick Grady since he didn't play last year but he started the year before so I'll spread out the love a little Stewart - could be the key to the defense. If he can stay healthy and be the FS we so desperately need our secondary will be scary. Haas - Length for days and nothing but good reports out of spring. I've had this guy pegged since he committed, please don't make me look dumb. Larson - Has stud written all over him. I expect this shirt to get pulled early. McKinney - Kind of like Stewart to the defense, this guy could be the key for the offense. If he can be a legit deep threat we will be in business. Zimmerman - we finally have a backup qb..... I think. If he is legit that means Studs doesn't have to play like he's on a yellow(soccer reference).
  20. We're in the horse latitudes right now for football.... so who do you think will be the top 5 newcomers to step up and contribute this coming season. I define a newcomer as someone who wasn't on the 2 deep last year and at most contributed on special teams.
  21. Hate to break it to you but you couldnt be more wrong.
  22. According to the recruiting gurus from your home site Iowa and ISU no longer had offers to him. UNI also backed away.
  23. Yo Greibel, do you even lift?
  24. None of his plays in particular stand out to my memory. Maybe some highlights of him against UNI?
