It was. I was trying to watch him out there but it was tough to get a feel for anything at that point.

Blubaugh is so much better than last year. His tackling is a breath of fresh air after watching Dieion “hit” guys.

That’s not where he ran and he had his hips facing outside. It would have been really hard for him to adjust to a deep throw, which is why he should have deepened his route in the first place.

No he wasn’t. Watch the play. He ran right behind the defenders back. He made it too easy on to defend. Should have been an easy TD.

The play is at the 4:52 mark. The defender does an excellent job. He goes at the short guy but anticipates the throw to the deep guy. Had Brady taken his route 5 yards deeper or just sat down inside it’s an easy TD pitch and catch.

That throw he made on the move to Wanzek for the toe tap was excellent. Hopefully he keeps improving.

Disagree. Brady should have stayed to the inside or gone deeper in the end zone. They made it too easy for one guy to defend two. Gotta be able to improvise at the top of a route in that situation.

Had one for 12. We should target him 5 times a game not counting the sweeps.

Still waiting for a throw to McKinney. He’s a really good sweep guy. I want to see him in a tunnel screen.

I’ll only complain about being aggressive if it’s a triple reverse in field goal range when we can ice the game with 3 points.

After we got up 21-0 there was a noticible change then it went back to being aggressive. We punted three times in a row after going up 21-0. Then we got more aggressive again.

This was the play of the game. Check out the speed of Holm. He comes from the back side of the play to track down perhaps Montana’s fastest player.

He had his characteristic lulls in playcalling. He always throws in some questionable series and against really good teams it costs us.

Does he run well enough though? Tanner's wheels were a huge asset to our defense. He’s a huge loss.

And yet we still had stretches in the second quarter where he was not as aggressive as he should have been. And again, 0 third quarter points is a joke.

Need a couple of good fakes to soften up the punt block from other teams. It also looked like the three hogs in front of the punter did a terrible job of slowing them down on the block.

We need to recruit another kicker. I watched Leach warm up for the second half and he has terrible body language and struggled with 35 yard FGs. He had a few that looked good but you can tell he’s lacking confidence. Also, his inability to kickoff deep and with hangtime kills our coverage.

Santiago is injured. They should shelve him for a couple weeks instead of throwing him out there at 80%. That knee is still bothering him.

I was hoping to see a lot of Otis at the end today. Not sure why he wasn’t getting in there. Unless they’re being very conservative with his games just in case they need him. If that’s the case then it would have been nice to see Sherva get some action.

It was an incredibly flat atmosphere to start the game. Luckily the guys made a ton of plays early.

Because we can do better. Today’s attendance was a direct result of our horrible performance against ISU. That was a huge missed opportunity and turned a lot of potential new fans off.
