It’s kinda funny that he Searsed Sears and every other major retailer.

There are a ton of people on this site who should take a gander at this link. https://www.verywellmind.com/cognitive-biases-distort-thinking-2794763

We need a couple bigger backs too though, we can’t ask smallish guys to ruin their bodies slamming into a wall of humanity like we did with Santiago. Kinda like the wr position, we need a variety of body types and skill sets to be successful.

Yea, I’m not talking about their resume, I’m talking about the eye test. At the beginning of the year they were struggling a little bit and they lost games when the qb was out, but by the end of the season they were absolutely rolling. That team was poised to make a run.
-
And yet I would argue our 2015 team was our best of the D1 era.
-
I’ve heard they’ll most likely be heavier next year with better weight than in the past.
-
The biggest issue for me is consistency. How can we hang in the trenches against Weber and Montana State and get blown apart by ISU and Nicholls? I still can’t wrap my head around that. Our guys were capable and impressive when undermanned against a couple of the best OL/DL teams in the country and then against a really bad team and a good team that isn’t anywhere near Montana State and Weber we got bitch slapped. I have no idea where to point the finger on this one.

Izzy is a good example of this on our current roster. Great straight line speed but struggles horizontally and diagonally. That’s why when he’s in it’s been mostly posts and goes. If he can learn to zig and zag at speed he could be dangerous.

And this is why family members shouldn’t post about their family on these sites. Emotions often override reading ability and things get taken personally when in reality there was no personal attack. Go back and re-read my post. Never called out Noah, I clearly stated that he would have been more effective with complimentary WRs that have speed. And if you couldn’t see with your own eyes that Noah wasn’t fast then I don’t know what to tell you. I’ve been very complimentary of him for his entire career because he was a great player with a ton of great attributes, character included, but speed was never going to be one of them, he just isn’t fast which makes his success even more impressive because he had to make a ton of catches with guy draped all over him.

Good one. Can’t handle the truth?

I really hope coach P learned from this year. And no, Baukol was not here in 1998. I think his first year as an assistant was like 2003 or something.
-
His old man was an animal so I’m hoping for more of that. Haven’t seen him play in person but I’ve seen him in person and he’s got a frame on him. 300 lbs will come easy for him and it can be a good 300.
-
Peyton Lotysz could be one of those guys. He’s got a really wide frame. If he plays like his dad he could be the badass we need as an anchor.
-
I’ll take two please
-
I think Shannon should slide down to OLB. He’s an absolute dog. He would have great speed for a LB.
-
Again, the program needs to come first. You think a guy who snubbed us and then got a second chance is gonna value the program as much as a guy who really wanted to be here and jumped at the opportunity? We'll generally get more out of the second guy and it will be better for the culture.
-
Unfortunately our coaches haven’t shown that they can actually recruit guys who can easily get to 300 lbs at nose and guys who can easily get to at least 260 at end. Those are pretty essential to our defense as your post highlights.
-
That’s the thing, I don’t think bending over backwards for players who snubbed us is good for the program. There are plenty of other players out there. It’s time to start valuing the program.
-
Are you suggesting that he should have switched to a 4 man front for the season? fwiw I’ve wanted us to switch full time to that for a while.
-
Rudy and logic going hand in hand? I think we all know better don’t we? The same guy who wanted Cloyd bulked up to 270ish so he could block and only block? That guy?
-
What about the OL this year? They all trimmed down by design because for some stupid reason the coaches thought that would be a good idea. So you’re saying Baukol accomplished a goal he was given? JJ came in and Rudy wanted him at like 250 so he bulked up? I thought guys can’t bulk up under Baukol? And yea, that was another stupid mistake by a coach but it wasn’t Baukol’s idea. I’m seriously starting to question the critical thinking skills of a lot of people on this board. I’m all for an honest critique but please try and know what you’re talking about because this is gfhockey level logic.
-
I don’t believe you that a player who came in and wasn’t overweight left the program as a senior having lost weight. I pay pretty close attention to this.
-
There is a huge difference.
-
So you know of multiple guys who have lost weight or not? There are always private messages to keep from calling players out by name in public.
