He gets people to link his takes here, on other forums, and on social media, resulting in even more clicks. Stop clicking on his articles and the problem will eventually take care of itself.

I think one of the stated reasons in NYC was the need to get the medical professionals and other "essential" employees to their workplace. I'm not familiar enough with either city to say whether their commuting situations are comparable or not though. The 2 cities/states certainly didn't react in the same manner at the same time.
