I'd guess this is the sticking point right now. The Aviation Department doesn't want to contribute towards or participate in the central university, although I'm told UND's flight fees are currently less than those of its competitors.

We've been waiting for Rudy to open it up for 4 years. I doubt the play calling against UW was limited with SHSU in mind. It's just who we are now.

If Leach truly was booming them in practice and is struggling with confidence in games right now, that'd be something kind of tough for the coaches to predict/evaluate from practice.

One major question I have is can our style of play be effective against talented teams? We put our CBs on islands and our OL against a stacked box every game. With the rule changes of the last 20 years, DBs are no longer able to bump and clutch receivers as much as they used to. Can we really expect our DBs to cover talented teams under modern FB rules? Have we gone too far to the "just run and stop the run side" after being terrible at both under Muss?

This is the issue here. Und is going to need to score 25+ points to have a chance in this one. Not sure a Rudy O can accomplish that against a half-decent defense.

That's been somewhat surprising to me as well. He's likely the least athletic of the big 3, but I don't mind that he plays as Maag gets more acclimated to college ball. With that said, those 3 should rarely be the only 3 WRs on the field.

And the team culture was awful.
