  1. They will be. December and on these teams will be even.
  2. Yes, Minnesota is light years ahead of UND right now.
  3. Yeah IIRC there were 3 different suspensions. The captains, then Gaarder, Pattyn, and Panzarella for something else with the party and then O'Donnell and Kristo for something unrelated to the party. O'Donnell, and the captains will sit Friday, Gaarder , Pattyn, Panzarella, and Kristo will sit Saturday night.
  4. Yes along with Gaarder, Pattyn and Kristo. Parks too if he is still hurt.
  5. Vs. Omaha he did for a game, and I want to say another in the home series against Wisconsin before they really settled on Gleason as a forward last year. I don't think its very hard for any d-man to step into a 4th line checking role, so it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility if Hak really wants Gleason at D.
  6. I remember Hakstol saying that, I just kind of figured an exception can/will be made for this upcoming weekend due to the suspensions/injuries. I could see Panzarella moving up as well, he played a few games at forward last year.
  7. Me either, I would just like to be able to see what they are calling.
  8. Its not like we are going into Alaska with no one. I'm assuming Parks is unable to go, but Rowney is: here is what the lineups possibly could be for each night: For UAA Caggiula-Grimaldi-Gaarder Chyzyk--MacMillan-Gleason Pattyn-St. Clair-Rodwell Senkbeil-Sanderson Schmaltz-Forbort Mattson-Simpson Panzarella UAF O'Donnell-Knight-Grimaldi MacMillan-Rowney-Gleason Caggiula-St. Clair-Rodwell Chyzyk-Sanderson-Senkbeil Schmaltz-Forbort Mattson-MacWilliam Simpson We will still have effective forwards in the lineup. Grimaldi and MacMillan both need to have huge weekends. I think what saves us is goaltending, and that we still have a very deep and talented d-corps both nights, even with the suspensions.
  9. I would guess, seems to me Hakstol is mixing it up for the 3rd.
  10. 5 Frankie Vatrano–19 Tyler Kelleher (UNH)–10 Evan Allen (Mich) 14 Tyler Motte (Mich)–17 Ryan Fitzgerald (BC)–24 Mike McCarron (Cornell) 9 Anthony Louis (Miami)–13 Sean Malone (Harvard)–22 Hudson Fasching (Minn) 28 Shane Eiserman (UNH)–25 Connor Hurley–12 Kevin Labanc (Notre Dame) 27 Gage Ausmus (DU)–16 Steven Santini (BC) 3 Scott Savage (BC)–2 Connor Clifton (Quinnipiac) 21 Clint Lewis–11 Trevor Hamilton (Miami) 4 Will Butcher (DU)–6 Keaton Thompson (UND) 29 Thatcher Demko 1 Hunter Miska Don't put any thought into Thompson being listed on the 4th pairing. Him and Butcher are the top 2 d-men on this team. That is the first pairing.
  11. Rowney and Parks out. I'll take 7-1 with Grimaldi-Knight-Kristo scoring 5 of the 7. Rocco hat-trick.
  12. Yes he did, he got an offer to play for a WHL team. Kootenay rings a bell but I could be wrong.
  13. I agree.
  14. Yes he is very big. Needs to put on some weight this year though.
  15. Wade Murphy is now second in the BCHL in points and first in PPG. He has 17 points in 8 games so far this year.
  16. You don't think Simpson will be with Mattson on the top unit? Or do you expect a forward to play the other point, Kristo? Possibly Grimaldi?
  17. I wouldn't mind Rodwell clearing up space for Knight and Kristo. I missed that physicality on the first line last year. Malone and Frattin were so fun to watch because not only would they outscore you, they would outhit you as well.
  18. I would guess its for line combos in the future. Just from watching clips from Media Day, Knight and Kristo were together, Grimaldi and O'Donnell were and for sure Parks and Rowney were, didn't see MacMillan but I had heard he was practicing on the top line for a while.
  19. I think Voltin is still a good prospect, although as you stated its look like he has some penalty issues and some off ice issues as well. Rowe I'm not sure, he really hasn't done anything (stats wise, never seen him play) for him to warrant a spot on the Sioux. Who knows though, both could have massive years and this topic will be moot.
  20. Looks like Chris Wilkie is off to a good start with the U-17 team, had 3 assists in 3 games prior to tonight. Tonight he has a goal and an assist thus far in his first USHL game.
  21. as15

    ND picked 4th

    Ouch
  22. Good point, he probably would be a better scorer than playmaker.
  23. I'll give it a shot. CHL, would this be the first decommit (to the CHL) for BC?

    ND picked 4th

I would say Clarke Saunders is at least somewhat proven at the NCAA level, the WCHA is a whole different animal however.
  25. Its gonna be close, for the game against UAA we will only have 17 eligible skaters, for the UAF game we will have 18. Any injuries between now and then and Tate Maris is lining up at center.
