  1. Evidence that he grew up a ‘Sioux hockey kid’ is where? Maybe there is more recent evidence to point to how ’Nodak dropped the ball’ on him. Gotta wonder if it will come out.
  2. I am interested in watching if the Beavs take a harass, bump or run approach on their former goalie
  3. Thought I heard that Berry and Company rejected Jake Sanderson’s verbal and written commitments. Even blocked his calls. They didn’t think that he was a good enough grinda. Jake had to sneak onto campus and into the arena.

Agree with you. Plans do change for people. UND and the The Hockey Hall of Fame will both get their money. On the optics, as far I know, this is not a nationally televised game. My belief is that the people in attendance will have a much better gauge to the true optics. The Hockey Hall of Fame, at least for the near future, will continue to milk the cash cow that is the traveling UND hockey fan base. What other fan base could they hope to tap so successfully on an every other year basis? They are ok going back to us already next year.
  5. Lots of great, affordable seats at Sanford Center Bemidji for the Fri. Oct. 15 UND game. Well, affordable until ticketmaster takes their blood money.
  6. Have eaten at the Maple Grove location. Loved the burgers (Culver’s like)and seasoning. Disliked the shoe string French fries. Cheese curds were ok
  7. Remember the days when the the SiouxSports forum and the Pride on Ice forum would debate on who would be better between T Zajac and Kris Chucko? I think we took home a solid winner. The Parise-Vanek comparable has been much closer.
  8. Sure is nothing wrong with that high top seating area row. Those seats are closer to the ice then 2/3 of the Ralph and no stairs for us old dudes. And you could stand during play if needing to stretch.

Not if you engage your inner childlike self. Then it’s just ……..childish. Everybody on here loves Sioux hockey, but sometimes it’s easier to pick a side and disagree and eventually come off more rude than we would like to. I will be in Nashville, two week driving vacation. Fortunate that I have the time, money, and good health to travel and to be there. Safe travels to all who can make it. Go Sioux.

….might be that the perceived ‘ass clowns’ do not make the policy for the venue and will just be doing their jobs. Kind of like the ‘ass clown’ employees on the airplanes trying to do their job until some jack wagon passenger becomes belligerent. Or is that too much credit?
  11. I don’t shop there, but I have heard that Sams Club has really good steaks.
  12. ‘Here’s you sign’ - Bill Engvall
  13. Shouldn’t you have posted that in ‘Where to eat in Grand Forks?’
  14. Incoming freshmen were up 8.3%. With all the indecisiveness of the on campus mandates (masks, on line classes, vaccines) affecting the on campus experience, I was surprised at the uptick of new students. For myself, I didn’t see that coming.
  15. I remain unenlightened, who would you remove from the present coaching staff and replace with Herter. If as you say ‘wish und would have taken Herter’?
  16. Who would have you removed to place Herter on the coaching staff?

Good read. Thank you for posting.
  18. Once Julius Erving and Moses Malone were done, so was i with the NBA
  19. Gotcha. Was thinking that you implied he went to Bemidji State. You through me off referencing that he was a BHS alum. Wasn’t sure on the relevance.
  20. I was thinking Steve Peters (Arizona video coach) is the same dude as Steve Peters (Bemidji LumberJack & Sioux goalie) Are you thinking Bob Peters, former Sioux goalie and coach, and longtime BSU coach?
  21. Love them mexi-burgers. Anybody know the fixin’s?
  22. Maybe you better leave that last part about the wife on the down low before your living down by the river
  23. It is still possible that Duluth picks up two ‘no contest’ game forfeitures enroute to the national title. Their game against Michigan was canceled five hours prior to scheduled start. Imagine only playing one game in the tournament and just showing up in Pittsburg to be awarded the title.
