Just watched for the first time an episode of Vice on HBO. It was about the NCAA and college sports. Very interesting what they had to say about colleges that claim they are losing money. One guy said "all colleges can afford to pay their athletes, the millions those athletes make these colleges would blow your mind". This episode focused on football and basketball obviously. One interesting league they named was the big10, one of the worst at "exploiting athletes whose families are poor"! "The big10 charges anyone with game footage $125 per second of footage"! They charge brand names money to allow them to give their athletes free gear and make it mandatory for them to wear it! Crazy stuff, check it out!

The tv said his support staff is different every year because they get big money offers to go elsewhere because of what they did at UND. More money would stop that, maybe cause more stability

This was a business decision IMO and one that had to be made! I look at this as a good thing since there are other big player sports at UND that might get more money to up the ante now, MBB,WBB, and what can this do to help the path Bubba has the FB team going in now! I think this is a smart move, unfortunate for WIH but what else could they do, keep digging a hole so you don't hurt the students in women's hockey?

And remember @siouxforce19 Frattins last year, right after the loss and him getting screwed in the Hobey award? Melrose announced "don't worry Sioux fans Mr Frattin will be playing in the NHL tomorrow night" I thought nothing negative of that (or Boeser) I actually thought that was really cool to hear.

Some people on here actually believe this I bet...

They said the same thing this morning on KVLY (the Bison channel) and Kristi Larson was at the arena showing the line up of people waiting on ticket sales to open!

This one also baffles me....I can drink a vodka tonic at a Sioux football game in my seat, but I can't leave the bar at a Sioux hockey game with a mixed drink!???

Just because there's talk that indicates overlooking the first opponent is done on a website doesn't mean the team is doing it. I hope the Sioux can beat Denver in the Championship game I see many beat me to this..

I also think this is the only reason UMD was able to get 3 of their 4 goals! The boys were a little upset by their real leader being knocked out of the game! Berry also said the true leaders of the team have taken over and that explains the recent success! I believe he was talking about Tucker and of course some others, but mainly Tucker. Again....More of my opinion!
