Two days left. It can't come fast enough.

I was thinking sort of the same thing. The last two years I have heard star players whining about not getting enough touches. When you start to hear that kind of crap you can just about put it in the bank that there will be no national title for that team. Team comes first, team goals come before a players personel ambitions and stats. If I was Lucia I send Johnson packing for the NHL right now because he has already dissed the team and the league and the coach for not utilizing him in the right way.

That was evident from their regional appearance last season.

I think I have to actually behave this season. I am sure I will be giving the riot act about language and how not consume too many beer and I have to work for these people when your gone. It was kind of like the time I went Pheasant hunting at the Fordham Colony in SD and got a lecture on language only to end up having a melt down after a poor shooting spree with my ussually faithful shotgun. A flock of pheasant flew over me out of this corn field and emptied my shot gun missing all of them causing me to go to a cussing spree only to turn around and see the colony paster standing behind me. Yikes.

No offense Lives to play but the Sioux lit the Gophers up? The Sioux also didn't give up a lot of goals in that series as well.

I think it was more that they wanted to be in a conference with Army and that they can compete better in the AHA than they could the CHA.

It's a horrible philosophy to run a league by and the NCAA had taken issue with the WCHA. I always think it's funny how MTU score the other night and the refs immediately put the Goofers on the power play. Reffing by the score.

My buddy once told me the same thing, basically that the league wants parity and there really isn't that much parity between the 10 place teams and the 1-5 place teams so the league officals are going to take that into perspective when they are calling the game. My response to him was there doesn't need to be parity, its not our fault if UAA and others can't compete with the rest of the league in recruiting. In my opinion the refs real reason for being there is to call the game not take politics into the equation. I could give a rats ass if 7-10 can't compete without trying to slow down the game, what next a cap on the number of top recruits a team can have?

If a person had a hard time sleeping watch this series. Its going to be boring.

I think its funny, but you can't make this stuff up. I am sure tDon will be having a class on what to say and what not to say to the media.

Now Minnesota losing to the last place team in the league would be an implosion. Oh the humanity. I would be cool to see a Final Five Void of Wisconsin and Minnesota for once. The WCHA would be having kittens.

Nothing like the Gophers being on a roll going into the playoffs, hopefully you won't end up losing the meaningless third place game again this season.

I agree the officials would be admitting they were calling the games poorly, won't happen.
