Dan is alright to listen to I just don't listen to him anymore because I have XM-Radio. I told Puffy that KFAN should be on the XM dial. I am not so sure why he calls his show sports, its more of his poltical stuff than sports. Ussually when he is talking sports he is putting down a coach, team or player. Maybe its just his MO. I can tell from listening to him Hockey isn't his first love. Your right he did knock down a few fans that were having trouble seeing the big picture. Just to go the NCAA frozen four is tough, let alone the Final Five championship game.

You have a point you have the debacle in Gophers last bowl game. I also wonder if the basket ball team has won as many games in three season as the gopher have in one or two seasons? I listed to the radio show in question and I think Dan was having fun. It was more satirical. I think Dan was taking issue with the media and the propaganda ministry.

Talk about a guy that gives the other team props, while other coaches makes excuses, goaltending night mare, no puck luck, the officating wasn't up to snuff on and on: RED I had a football coach say one time that win as a team and lose as a team, but in doing either you show some class and respect for the other team. Hak might even be humble all most to a fault. Very complimentry. No entitlement. I can respect that a lot. Lucia wasn't too bad during his press conference.

That is an awesome post. In my opinion Wishy Washy = Goody Two Shoes. My advice to some unnamed posters is let people celebrate they way they want, like Sioux-Cia said if you don't like the title or the thread don't read it. I could care less if someone buys a HC jersey, I am also not going to spend a hole bunch of my time lecturing them, it their money and its a free country. More power to them. I actually like Purple, and the fact that the whole HC irriates the Gopher fans is good enough for me. Like I said they are the kings of rubbing people noses in it. I think we might actually be forgetting the main point here, THE SIOUX ARE IN THE NCAA Semi's, THE GOOFERS ARE DONE... Like Mike Tice said enjoy the season. On a final note if the Goofers keep taking a dump in the playoffs the media is going to be all over tDon, like Chad Hartman said they will only take these set back so long and they will turn on him. WHAT IS THAT? What do we have a message board police force now? Do you get tickets/citations for excessive celebration? My God, the Gopher fans are the worst for rubbing their wins in people's faces. Rewind back to their back to back NCAA championships. My phone rang off the hook immediately after each championship game. I came home one day after the Championship game to find the Minnesota rouser on my answering machine. Rubbing it in is half the fun. Or do we have short memories. This Sioux sports if you don't like the reveling in the Sioux victory I guess this isn't the site for you. Frankly this the whole reason behind sports, this why you play the games, this why we keep score, that why you have all time records, this why 7>5. Since the Sioux won the game my phone has stopped ringing. I guess the Sioux winning had many purposes. I don't know about anyone else but if a Mpls pundent wants to hammer the gophers so be it.
