Actually it was based on straight PWR rankings and if MSU-M had beaten UNO they would have gotten into the tourney. Actually the Irish were the last team into the tourney last year. I mean it did look fishy at first but after you read all the different scenarios that is why they went to the rule that you had to have a .500 record to make the NCAA tourney. Because so many people complained about Wisconsin getting into the tourney. When they made it by the rules the NCAA had established.

That is why I booked my room at the Holiday INN River center in December.

You really don't get it do you? I think Sioux fanatic sums it up pretty well. Some of would never under any circumstance cheer for the dirty Bison NO MATTER WHAT. We are pro North Dakota. There is no requirement to cheer for NDSU.

I see the point your are making, but for the people to say that because we don't support NDSU in the NCAA tourney we some how aren't pro-ND. That is down right silly. I do wonder if our administration is paying attention to the process it takes to get to the next level? That is a fair question.

I am not going to support NDSU and that has nothing to do with state pride. I have no obligation to cheer for the Bison. Good luck cheering for your mid major team that is going to get bounced by a 1 or 2 seed. The Lambs going to the slaughter.

That is your choice, I don't even watch Basketball and could care less how far the Bison go in the NCAA tourney. That doesn't mean I am anti-North Dakota just means I could care less about the Bison. I do my share to thin the Duck, Goose, Pheasant and Deer populations in the state of ND. I pay taxes to my city and my state so I am hardly anti-ND.

Exactly. Like I stated in a previous post NDSU is our rival and I hope they lose in their first game. Yikes that doesn't make me un North Dakota.

Where is it written if you live in ND that you have to support the Bison in the playoffs or you don't support the state of ND. I think that is silly. Especially if you are a UND grad and Sioux fan. I could care less if they lose their first game.

I am going to have to make a post to Charlie who had been bragging up the all minnesota roster over on my blog. I guess he is going to be disappointed.

JGT, I remember when you were the field goal kicker for UND and I kind of miss the old days where the Sioux used to play the Bison in football. I agree with you, I will and could never ever, ever cheer for NDSU in anything. They Bison logo to is me is as offensive as the Gopher "M" I can't wait till the Sioux and the Bison can play in football again. So I could care less how NDSU does in the Basketball tourney. I am also waiting for McFeely to say this is a huge story even bigger the Sioux.
