I think UND played down to the level of their opponent this weekend.

I thought all of them were great captains.

How would you quantify who the best one is? I personally have like all of captains I have seen play for UND. They are all special in their own way. Different traits.

Yeah they referred to him as over-rated, nothing without Toews and Oshie and It just isn't true. UND will miss Ducan after this season.

We had a short handed goal and a few PP's this weekend. UND was 2/6 last night and 1/9 last night I think we will need to be better than 3/15 on the power play.

Yeah people forget that Notre Dame was the last team in the NCAA playoffs. Also if MSU-M had beaten UNO they would have gotten in the tourney in stead of Notre Dame.

UMD has good players and I wouldn't count them out yet.

Some Gopher fans think UMN is entitlement hockey. They are entitled to playing in the 7:00 game on Friday, a home regional regional every year, the Frozen Four in their back yard, a big ten hockey conference. Auto bids. On and on... A person almost has to drink the whole time they are at the final five to tolerate it.

That isn't going to happen, the Cornell coach Schaffer whined about the officating, got suspended and then had 18 power plays the next night. Why is it that the officials award a whining coach with more PP's. I would be willing to bet that RPI gets homer hard tonight.

Wouldn't be easier to just go back to the smoke filled rooms? This stuff is crazy. Some clown over the Strib web site on a fan post actually thinks UMN will get in because they deserve to be in and that they are hosting a regional and they are the pride of college hockey, you can't make this stuff up. Funny as heck. Also, the boys at beyond the pond also think that Wisconsin getting in last year was a conspiracy not based on the numbers and some how think the Goofs will make the tourney in same way. You would think at least that the media people would be more informed.

UMD should come right out and hammer the Goofs, check them right into the street. Crash the net hard the Goofs will fold like a tent.

I think it would be safe to say that there is probably one Sioux fan that will be cheering for the Goofs.

Based on the way your team has played this season that is a pretty silly statement. Stalock is a much better goalie than Kangas now that the Gophers are in the Final Five tourney don't expect the Refs to let you clutch and grab UMD up and down the ice and the Dogs have some pretty good players as well. The Dogs also did something your team couldn't do beat the Tigers in Colorado springs. Lastly, You forget a lot of fans will be cheering against your team.

It is not a very big bar and you will need to get there hours in advance to get a seat.

They have two of their better players injuried. I don't care who the Sioux play.

That would be hard to quantify. Each is probably special in their own way.

And not to rain on the goofs parade but they were swept by the Sioux, Tigers, Badgers, Mavericks...

I think there is one more season next year then it disbands.

MeanEGirl you're team will be back and I hope the administration at MTU sticks with Russell I think he is good coach that got dealt a bad hand this season, everything that could go wrong did.
