This is a back door attempt to punish schools that use Canadian hockey players. Also, I would imagine that all of these schools have fund raisers and raise their money for scholarships, I played in the Galen Nagel a few years back at the Bemidji Country Club and that golf tourney was a fund raiser for hockey scholarships.

I still think that goal shouldn't have counted, Kohlar (sp) was checked out of his net and with the replay rules today it would have been no goal and play on.

Nice point MikeJM I do remember when everyone was oh we need to go to the Olympic sheets of ice. I think if anything they slow the game down and take the hitting out of the game. I like the NHL rinks and like watching games on the smaller rinks like the old Boston Garden, the Decc and the Aud. Everything happens faster. I remember when the NHL players first started playing on them and the North American players talked about how they hated the bigger sheets.

Yale has a pretty weak NON conference schedule and they lost a game to UAH. They are not impressive in my opinion. I would predict a 5-1 game against them.

I think it is silly that his team which some have mentioned are the king of the obstruction and then when it happens to his team he gets upset and then after he takes an official to task in two newspapers. After this happens Schafer is then suspended and his team is rewarded in the next game with 18 power plays. That number of 18 power players is exidence to me that game was poorly officiated. In essence the officials rewarded bad behavior with a benefit to his team. Basically they admitted that they blew it the night before and corrected a wrong with a wrong. At the expense of the other team. I think Schaffer is a whiner and I hope he has to play in Minneapolis. I can't wait to hear him cry and complain.
