Yes second half swoon. I predict they will lose a few in the second half.

I think the DU is good team but to chalk them up as the champion is a little pre-mature, I am not that big of a Chevy fan and I think he is beatable. How many times have we seen a team win the Cup only to flounder in the playoffs. UND and C.C. two examples of this. UND went head to head with DU and the refs and only lost the second game 3-2 I think UND and DU are pretty equal with Eidsness being the weak link for UND. DU has a very young defense corps. I also think DU's cockiness and listening to their fawning media types is going to get the best of them in the end. Just a prediction and just my humble opinion.

That is what I am saying that place has a lot of potential and the college kids could be a market they didn't tap. Like I said I would love to own it if I had the money.

The problem is that they put a high end sports bar and they should have made it more affordable and catered to the younger crowd. The thing is right on campus and could be a big time money maker, if I had the money I would love to run it. I was sad when it closed because the lavosh was awesome. I hope that something opens up soon in it's place.

I think as a journalist it was a silly prediction to make, he all but said they should win the tourney. That is before the puck even dropped. Also, the Pioneers haven't had their patiented second half swoon, like they ussually do.

Actually if it hadn't been for Eidsness over playing the puck we probably would have won the second game as well. I will bet you. So if the Sioux get three points I win?

ahem, those games were before the second half of the year and I think UND will put a hurt on Minnesota. They're God awful right now.

Brianvf I also believe the two top teams have shown that they are beatable as well. I think this thing is wide open and if UND got hot and won it this season I wouldn't be surprised I could see a bunch of number one seeds going in the regionals again. Coach Hakstol said the team is getting there. I could see a team staying home from the Final Five and still making the NCAA tourney.

Even the Badgers are playing two goalies this season. Chevy has looked good at times and laid some stinkers too.

I don't think that his negative but its the truth, that's why Dell needs to get healthy and get in the line up against a few teams.

You know I agree the goaltending hasn't been very good. I am not a big fan of his game at all, not a fan of butterfly goalies at all. I do believe he is the weak link on this team. I think the Sioux can win with him in net if they get Chay back pretty soon. If you look at the stats he has to get his GAA down a bit. Ussually he doesn't give up more than three goals.

Seems to be a lot of negativity on this board. Holy Cow you would have thought we lost both games. UND is so $#1ty that they are sitting at 10th in the PWR. The only thing that matters right now. Last season they were barely in the top 25.
