I honestly can't believe that someone hasn't started this thread yet. The Series that many fans mark on their calender... The Fighting Sioux are (3-4-1, 1-3 WCHA). The Gophers (7-1-0, 4-0-0 WCHA) are brimming with confidence after dispatching the UAA Seawolves 5-0 and 3-1 to sweep UAA. I have read where some fans seem to think that UND has no chance to win a game in this series and that the Sioux will be run out of the building by the mighty Gophers. I did some something simular to that on the Chat the other night. Some fans seem to "believe" that the Fighting Sioux don't stand a snowballs chance in hell against the mighty Golden Gophers. You can through records out the door during this series. I think it's time for the Fighting Sioux to slap that Gopher ass around... Crosses Fingers.

Hakstol has been beaten to death... Lastly, Tony Lucia had it coming, he butt ended Evan Trupp in front of the Sioux bench earlier in the game and I believe; didn't Lucia agree to fight Jones and then ran and hid behind the ref at the last moment? Maybe someone else can help me out here.

Wow, if you want to talk about Goofers goals there is a love feast fan page for them... You mentioned Ovie, yep, while he is the best player in the NHL or one of them his celebrations will entertaining are way over the top, some have likened them to Soccer players. The Gophers are notoriously famous for their over the top and over celebrations, Brian Bonin was one of the worst of all time. It's called sportsmanship and also about acting like you have been there before. The Reason Rau has been pounded might be because of his celebrations on the ice. I can't wait till Rau gets rocked by a Sioux hockey player in a couple of weeks and then we are going to have to listen to how the Sioux are dirty and targeting Rau... Blah, Blah, Blah... I think other teams will study the tape of Friday's game and probably play the Gophers the same way. Take body hard on them get bodies in front of the net and get under the Gopher players skin. Seth Helgeson lost it yesterday as well.
