Your poll you got should be worded favorite player from the last season. There are many more players that are better than half on that list. Mike P isn't even in my top thirty favorite players players. I would have to say some of my favorite players were: Justin Duberman, Landon Wilson, Greg Johnson, Zach Parise, Jason Blake, Curtis Murphy, Nick Naminko, Brandon Bochenski, The Panzer Divison, Karl G. etc...

Yeah that site has no credibility what so ever, you can't believe anything that is written or posted on that site. It is run by a couple of disgrunted former UND students and they have trouble with the facts much like Michael Moore does.

The good news is that for the first time since UND moved into the REA only one weekend in October (Gophers Series the weekend of the 23rd of October) will conflict with Duck season and pheasant hunting. So I am really excited. Also my new yellow lab puppy will be ready to go as he is off being finished as we speak.

Hey Troll, I doubt Parise is going to be the next out, one reason being he was our best goal tender at the end of the season. I suppose your one of those people tha assume that JP is only here because of his younger brother. Blah, blah, blah... Sure Layne played ok at BSU, however, BSU in in the CHA with isn't half as good as the WCHA. Most CHA teams aren't even as good as UAA or MTU.

Have you notice that. For a guy thats not moving he sure hasn't take himself out of the mix. So which makes me think he might be interested.

I would bet its safe to assume that Wheeler would probably play in college for a couple of years. It ussaully takes longer for defensemen to develop to a level where they can play in the NHL. Good for the Great one in suggesting they not rush a kid into the next level. Its getting tiresome watching all of these great college players leave college early for the the NHL only to get stuck in the minors.

Thats why I think Sandelin is going to be on the short list. I would like to be a fly on the wall when this discussion comes up. Honestly I don't care what Bruce Ciske and crew (the UMD rubes) say about Sandelin staying at UMD and not wanting to go to UND. Please, UND is a major step up from Duluth as far as prestige and history go. They are kidding their selves if they think Scott isn't thinking about coaching at UND. I remember when UofM came calling Blais. I would be willing to Bet Blaiser thought about it.

If this general manager is having trouble with people like it is rumored, knowning how UND history plays out, it won't be long before this guy will be shown the door.

I think Hakstol could do a good job, but I am hoping UND makes a good pitch to get Sandy. I think there is a correlation between Scott leaving UND and no NCAA titles since then. UND is close again and hiring Sandelin could push us over the top to witnessing another title in Grand Forks.

PA and Dubay had Grant P. on their show one day after Grant had gotten back from his stint in the Minor, AHL I believe and said that he hadn't even got paid from the Sens organization yet. I doubt that the Senators are going to give Buck a lot of money with the impending labor disput about to take place. The players union and the Owners aren't even meeting to settle this up coming mess. It doesn't look good for the NHL next season.

I think its funny how all of these UMD fans are saying oh no Scott isn't going anywhere. I am hear to tell you that Sandlin will be the first one that UND probably calls for the job. If I was Roger I would. Wether he goes or not is another thing. I would bet UND has a 5/10 chance of landing him. Just because someones sits in a bar and talks with the coach and supposively says I am not moving back to Grand Forks doesn't mean he isn't going. In the same light when your in a high profile program you don't tell eveyone your looking, it loses favor with your current employer. You make them come to you. I would be worried if I lived in Duluth right now.
