I read a TSN article that said Mark Cuban is interested in buying the Pens..if that were the case i would think Houston and Vegas would be his options. Houston is close to his home, and Vegas would be a marketing guys dream. Tourists visiting Vegas would love to stop in and catch the Sid and Kids show.

I know when i was 13 i still was relying on a chair to keep me up from falling on the ice. The KID has some NHL type moves that I thought are pretty impressive. The last move earned my respect and he even scored on it! The only move he missed was the Brian Rolston breakaway shootout Slapshot..

It's kind of a given that GFC and Grafton get the Spirit Award. The entire city of Grafton shows up for every game they play in, and Central has always been a great supporter. However, I'd rather have that nice Hardware compared to a banner saying we got spirit. RIDERS 2005

He everyone out there, first i'd like to say Cetral looked great today. I was at the game and they played with pure heart and passion. A great win. The great coaching of GF Red River will lead RR to the championship....wait no, no it wont be the coaching but it will be a group of kids who have played up to their true potential for about a total of 9 periods this year and still find themselves at the 3rd seed in the east. THey will finally show the state how good this team can really be and be the ones cheering on Saturday nite.

Everyone rip Deuce apart because he is such a well known figure in the ND Hockey Community. Or esle no one would know his name and simply refer to him as another "red beard." The guy has done a hell of a job helping greater grand forks hockey and for the entire state. If ANYONE knew any of the horse sh^t referee names of Fargo and Bismarck maybe we could all share their stories on here and that would just be awesome reading. Go RIDERS

I would agree with the above and say that two guys from the west this year will hurt each other in voting. Jake Marto is a good hockey player and has impressed every coach that has seen him play. Jake will win it.

I believe that UND and CC played a afternoon series during the High school tourney a few years ago. I was hungover but sobered up for the third period to watch one of the most exciting UND comebacks in years

Ok heres what I took notice too and thought it was really different. I dont know if the coaches or WCHA, im sure both have input but UND's second half season schedule has been very strange. I understand the off season for the World Jrs. Since Blais would have been busy coaching in GF but Dec 19th to Jan 7th was a long break when most teams play a competitive yet fun Holiday Tourny. Next, an OFF week and then BSU series, not the games I wanna see for a team that is trying to build chemistry and momentum for Playoffs. Then a couple of good series' and ohh another OFF week. I guess coaches CANT be with the players on these off weeks either? Dont understand that one but the main issue is that this team needs to play games and get flowing which could not have been done by the likes of this schedule. BUT maybe a Sweep of SCSU at SC will be all these guys need to light their fire for the WCHA's.

This is one of the most rediculous things i have ever seen. It is my feeling that a person who buys a hockey ticket and sits in the seats at a hockey game has a "right" to see a replay if its available. The WCHA should have no control over what is shown, FOX and their NFL coverage show replays at super slow motion and prove often that the Official made a wrong call. Get real and show the replays of what "really" happened not what Todd Anderson saw in his airhead with his own blind eyes.

Weird that the Ralph decided early on not to show replays in fairness for the Referees and as a sign of being "politically correct." Yet, the arena proudly displays thousands of the Best college logo in America.
