(hopefully REA won't decide to build a Basket Weaving Auditorium on the heels of the Betty) TALENT-WISE - division one AA isn't that big of a jump (except for the Scholly $$'s) - UNC beat NDSU with ONE year's more experience - 13 LESS scholarships....AND a field goal kicker with a more than 50degree Arc!!! We can be there!!! It'll just take some time....

DI womens hockey is a drain...and our resources are limited. f* yeah I wish we moved up, but be patient. SDSU is clearly an anchor rather than a partner for NDSU...they got spanked in their conference opener and I can't see them beating any GW opponent expect maybe Sac State. I CAN'T BELIEVE I'M SAYING THIS but NDSU would be a good addition for the Big Sky but the girl you're bringing to the dance is a real ($$$ starved) dog. You won't be able to sell them on yourselves...if only you would have been willing a chill for a couple more years...this would have been good for everyone

Central Oklahoma (the team that beat Mesa in the opener) won handily yesterday too but I have the feeling Mesa was greatly overrated in the pre-season polls. Not UND's fault though and throttling a top-25 team can only help them down the road. I thought Delta was a legit top-10 team - they'll be around at the end of the year.

Condolences to the Marvin Family here as well. I talked to Izzy a couple of weeks ago and he said Cal wasn't doing too well but I had no idea he was so ill. Hockey has lost a great friend and pioneer - Rest in peace Cal.

oh, you had to bring up the Ag College One thing that really jumped out at me was their head coaches' UNCANNY RESEMBLANCE to Popeye...then it hit me! Popeye did have a son and now he's all grownup coaching football (sort of)
