Hey, don't blame me. I wasn't the one that brought Hakstol's name. But since it has been brought up, Hakstol had many teams that were loaded, with a full roster, that didn't get it done. If you are thinking about 2012, they didn't make it to the Frozen Four, they lost the regional final to *puke* Minnesota at the X. And yes, I am something, aren't I?

Until they do something in March, being ranked in the polls doesn't mean much.

I was just thinking that. Maybe that is the measuring stick we should use from now on. No Penrose this year, maybe not home ice either. But as long as we get in, we have a chance.

Berry took a loaded team last year and won #8. Hakstol had many loaded teams that never closed the deal. Those are facts. Of course, neither of those facts are relevant to our current team and season.

What are you talking about? I said last year's team would have buried some of these shots. I also said that we lost a lot of talent off of last year's team. How are those two points contradictory? I think they go together like peanut butter and jelly. Maybe next you can tell us how Notre Dame MBB is a perennial national power?

If this team cannot string together more than two wins at a time, they won't do much in the tournament.

Ehhh, we haven't lost 9 guys in one off-season in years. I cannot remember the last time we lost so many key pieces from a team at once. It has been awhile.

What does being frustrated about a loss have to do with Hakstol vs. Berry? You probably think Hakstol would have had us in 1st place this year. News Flash: This team lost 9 key players off of last year's team. That is hard to replace. If we miss the tournament this year, it will be for the first time since 2002. The streak wasn't going to last forever. Now, don't you have a Flyers game to follow?

This happens way too often. This guy hasn't done jack squat this year and all of a sudden, he's a Hobey candidate? This rarely happened last year, if at all. And I think we know why.

We are at a point where every loss moves us one step closer to not making the tournament. We cannot afford to lose games like this, I don't care if they have Patrick Roy in his prime.
