Damn!! That's the only chance I'll get at seeing them anytime soon. Looks like I'll live and die by Tim Hennessey next year. (That's not a bad thing though!)

Has anyone heard when the the Sioux play in Omaha yet? The sooner I can plan, the better!

If this says anything, I refuse to watch them live or on TV. After years of listening, I finally got to watch them on TV... that game was the FF of 2007. () THEN, this past year I finally got to SEE them live in Omaha on Saturday night. (We lost 0-1.) But if I listen via The Fox with Tim Hennessey calling it, the Sioux are damn near undefeated. (If Tim's not calling it, I'm a wreck!) To add further superstition: I wear my Ralph #23 shirt on Friday. Saturday, I wear my "Tradition" shirt up until pregame. Upon pregame, I change to a different Sioux shirt that's sleeveless and put on the same Nike shorts. (I stay like that until the 2nd intermission). If the Sioux are up, I wear my green jersey; if they're down, I wear my white jersey and set a roll of foil next to the computer. *Note* - If I can't be near the computer to listen, I always take my green jersey with me and keep it in the car. GO SIOUX!!

It is pretty ridiculous that the "host" team is 650 miles north of the games they're hosting. Hey, at least we won't have to see all those filthy "M"'s splattered all around the rink.

Congratulations to the Bulldogs! UMD has always been my #2 in both hockey and in football (Northwest Missouri is my #1, which we got beat by UMD in the 2008 NC and semis at Malosky this past season), but I partially grew up in the Duluth/Superior metro. I still can't believe it's only their 1st, as there's been some damn good Bulldog teams over the years. I'm excited to go back up there in a few months and see all the hockey and football stuff that'll be plastered all over town. I was rooting for the Dogs hardcore when they were playing Yale... sweet nectar do I hate Yale. And BC. And BU. (But all combined, much less than the golden rodents.) Congrats to the UMD Bulldogs! You've made the WCHA proud!

Every single one of them. I only got to watch them play in person once, but I've listened since before them and man... it was amazing to listen about them. Great leaders on and off the ice. Best of luck to every single one of them in all life's ventures. You've made us Sioux fans proud!!

I was listening down here in NW Missouri and my wife said "What's happened? You look like we lost before the game started.". I sort of felt like we did.
