Just toss one on the ol' lady and swap if it's not trending right......

Dealers choice on what gets swapped the jersey or the wife.

Except Judd didn't play the puck across the line. He pushed it into the zone and then didn't touch it again until Jamer had tagged up. You're genuinely making up a scenario in your head and then claiming to be right. Maybe hockey isn't for you.

    Easy boys... easy boys......

Frankly not sure the comeback is fully fuelled without that call going against us....

I'll take it for what it is, but still kinda feel it was exactly the Makar play reincarnate.

    excellent Chinese food

    Chinese buffet????  Pregame???

    That's not a believable story.

That's not a un-shityourpants situation with the men's room lines at the Ralph.

Pepper top quality? LOL! Colby cheese on a taco? Yea that’s high quality all right. I still eat there fwiw, I just don’t have delusions about it being anything to write home about. It is what it is.

    Exactly,

for what it is worth, it is what it is, and it's top notch for exactly that, nothing more.

Long live the king of mediocre.

For the record, why aren't we complaining about not promoting men's and women's basketball? We may have the most exciting freshman coming in to the mens program in years.  And that says alot.

It's en vogue to hate on things. So when someone says "it's bad". It's hard to believe them.

I've learned the more you eat at a restaurant the better it becomes. Chik-fil-a is a mediocre sandwhich loved my gazillions. Same goes for the Red Pepper.

The Panda gets better everytime you eat there (especially when you're high). Their Mongolian grill is superb. It put HuHut out of business. And that's just Panda's side hustle. Service is top notch always keep the food stocked. They only serve what is popular and don't try to market "the largest buffet" (cough Bismarck's buffet).

But then again don't be surprised if you see terrible reviews online. They've only been in GF for 20 years.

As a Chinese buffet connoisseur across the region, Moorheads Chinese buffet had amazing peanut chicken. Wish more buffets had that option. Fried Rice is a Chinese food staple; that never seems quality at any buffet. Nine Dragons in Fargo (is a non buffet) is some of the best around.

Pro Tip: half the battle is the quicker the turnaround, the better the food. Nobody wants a dry nugget because it sat under the heat lamp too long. Alexandria MN could have the best prepped Chinese food but because no one eats there it tastes like NDSU......Very little doubts about that at the Panda Buffet.

No further questions your honor!  Chik-fil-a IS the new Red Pepper. SO POPULAR but no will admit it....Frankly mediocre

Gotta say it - bland unless you're totally drunk - but so many are it's a paradox.  Go

Some may find Chikfila bland but hands down there's not a better piece of fried chicken for a sandwich in the Dakotas for sure if not the midwest.

Nine Dragons is up there tippy tip of the ratings IF

IF the staff isn't baked as an Easter ham.

    Pepper is top quality

FOR THE FOOD THAT IT IS

Nothing more, nothing less. You can't expect it to be the best mutt in the Kenel club show, but as far as back alley mutts go .. its pretty good.

and speaking of back alley mutts....

I havent had anything remotely Asian that beat that little place in Roseau for a long long time.... certainly not from a buffet. ....

    I've declared Asian buffets dead

Just stick with the buffet and don't have anything off the Mongolian Grill.   A couple years ago saw an employee come out and stir the piles of raw meat and vegetables with no gloves going from chicken to beef to noodles and whatever.   Salmonella anyone?   Done and DONE! I could also tell you tales of being in their kitchen many years ago but lets not go there.  All I can say is "tubs of grey chicken on the floor" and enough said!

Far East used to be a lot better but their building is for sale and it's falling in on itself (plus they grew some kind of vegetables in the rear of the building last year next to the garbage dumpsters. - sure there's a health code violation there) but whatever - never made me sick.

GF Classic China Garden has gone to crap - both food and service wise - what happened to the proliferation of Chinese Buffets??  We have no real go-to in GF - that sucks!

    This is region wide issue.

I blame the increase Asian-American sentiment leftover from the China Virus fiasco.

Rocco has to put on the ear phones and block out the NY/National media.  Arraez is hurt.  Watch the guy run tonight, it's ridiculous.  Most guys would already be on the IL.

IDGAF if they whine about his batting title if he doesn't play the last few games.  He deserves it for how well he hit over the majority of the season.  Waiting for him to tear that hammy that is just killing him....

After what Mattingly did NY has no right to bitch... ever.

They need to be screaming for prime time live independent testing for PED.

Hanging from the posts along University Ave. Wondering what UND had planned for this Hawk “logo”.

It wouldn't be the worst on both sides of an alternate football helmet.

It's not great but as a one off or a skin for a helmet... passable

Would be at least usefull to gauge interest in the concept.

Just curious-what amounts are considered mid-moderate levels?

You know in my mind that's the 500-1500ish level maybe...

even 200 to 500 need to be celebrated. IMHO

Heck I gave $50 to summer hockey thing one time and I got a call from someone AND a card from coach.

    I felt appreciated.

Absolutely, it’s run by a bunch of delinquents.

I know a lot of people in North Dakota with $ to spend but the Champions Club and Alumni Foundation puts up their noses to them. They spend so much time trying to get the big bucks (i.e., the big time donation) from select donors, that they fail to realize there are several moderate donations all over the place that they could be capitalizing on.

I think UND athletics fundraising, beyond the hockey community, is god awful. I mean, how could you say it’s not? UND’s non-hockey sports budget is below average… not good enough to yield banners on a consistent basis, that’s for sure.

Hate to say it, but NDSU Team Makers has blown UND out of the water the past decade.

I would completely agree with you in this.

SPECIFICALLY the lack of attention to the mid-moderate levels of Champions club spending. They need to do a much better job recruiting and celebrating those gifts from football alum and supporters.

All correct, but there's another aspect. -> My septic system pumper (takes a CDL to drive the "honey wagon") pointed it out to me ...

A CDL includes random drug testing.
Medical or recreational (legal) marijuana fails you on the CDL drug test.

Many folks don't get their CDL knowing their 'weekend habit' will fail them out in no time anyway.

This is a hidden negative impact of legalization.

The scary thing is that their "solution" to this will be to simply stop testing and allow the drug use by CDL holders.

Lifelong Mets fan and longtime ss 'lurker" here.  I respect what Aaron Judge has done this year, yes its good for baseball, your right.  It's ok to be a Yankee hater, lots of people are including myself but jeez, to say he's seen nothing but meatballs tells people you may be a bit senile.   Go Hawks

did you see the pitch he hit for 61... or 60...

    Record is still 61.

Judge is a trailing 4th on the juiceball list.

This game worn Eades jersey is a prime example (also since he made his jerseys) of how its incorrect. To the naked eye they look the same but the facepaint is off, the top of the hair is off and his face lines are not accurate to what he has on his. Now this could be chalked up to the people he used to create the jerseys but they are not 100% accurate.

Now with the shoulder patches (and each year was different due to carryover jerseys and new ones brought in) the green jerseys had interlocking tomahawks on the S and on the white ones the tomahawk layed over the S.

You’re delusional and just trying to convince yourself of your own farfetched reasoning. We all know what you’re trying to say, but it’s apparently impossible for you to realize the insignificance of it.

NCAA hockey has a single classification and lacks diversity because it’s not overall popular.  NCAA football has multiple classifications because there’s so many institutions supporting it - it’s diverse and incredibly popular.

UND is in the second highest classification of NCAA football and the only classification available (and needed) for NCAA hockey. The highest NCAA classification of hockey is no where near as popular monetarily or attendance-wise as the highest classification of NCAA football. NCAA hockey is, however, comparable to the second highest classification of NCAA football.

Keep talking yourself in circles though to convince your delusional self otherwise.

    Well no.. WRONG.

NCAA offers 3 Divisions of Men's Ice Hockey

    Divison 1

Divison 2 Currently no schools choose to compete, and NCAA does not currently offer a championship in D2

Divison 3   So this is the secondary best division of NCAA hockey = FCS Football

    Div 1

Hockey: UMtc, Boston University, Michigan, UND

Football: Alabama, Miami, Texas, Michigan Notre Dame

    The second division....

Hockey: St. Norbort, Univ. Wisco-Stevens Point, Adrian, Norwich

Football: SDSU, Pittsburgh, NDSU, Jackson State, UND

Again a kid can't go D1 Hockey he ends up in the second division.... it's labeled  "D3"

A kid can't go D1 in Football he ends up in the second division........... its labeled "FCS"

Labels don't matter. Quit moving the goalposts to fit your ego

    Get over yourself... its D2.

First will say that I support all UND teams including hockey, fb, men's and women's bb with my time and money and hope they all do well.

My question for you is - based on your logic,  would NCAA hockey or Major Juniors be the DII league for North America for their age group.

Interesting question but unfortunately there is no clear answer because it's not an apples to apple comparison... no real inter-playability.

NCAA NHL views Canadian Major Juniors (MJ) as a minor pro league.

the NHL views the leagues quite equally more and more now.

It's not like a kid can't get recruited to the MJ so drops to NCAA... nor can we say a kid can't get into the NCAA he drops down to MJ.

To relate for the slow ones.

when Kids can't get a spot in the top division of college football... Alabama, Auburn..... Real Division 1

they fall into lesser divisions. NDSU, SDSU... UND.. the second division but to make bumbleheaded fans think they're important and cool it's labeled "FCS".
