I'm all for rolling other teams and Bubba's team should be all for that also. But, I do agree that we should start with just securing the win first. GO UND FIGHTING HAWKS!

Absolutely. 10,000+ or bust as far as I am concerned. I have renewed my season ticket seats and will do my part to try and get 5 to 10 tickets for some family and friends to attend. GO UND FIGHTING HAWKS!

My point clearly was his tactics of going about it (rallying support) were flawed. And they were. Fact. He didn't have it; time to move on and accept the positive current state of affairs.

Those were part of the negotiated terms of Bubba's hire; credit to Bubba. Bubba knows how to work the administration, if you can't tell by this point (his athletic department-wide speeches and messages have blown anything Faison has ever tried to deliver out of the water). Bubba has far better people skills and, quite frankly, common sense than Mussman. Don't use $$$ as an excuse for Mussman; he just didn't have the ability to be a leader, both on the football field and with higher leadership. If he had, he would've been able to lobby for better support.

I was just referencing the estimates of 6k to 8k, not necessarily saying you or anyone else would be happy with those numbers. Nevertheless, there is no reason UND's playoff games should be the lowest attended games of the season - it is just so counter-intuitive that it makes my blood boil.

UND had over 11,000 in the stands against South Dakota this season. Now, IN THE PLAYOFFS FOR THE FIRST TIME AS A DI PROGRAM, we are hoping for 3000 less than that in order to be satisfied. That is just pathetic. I highly doubt those 3000 people are flying to New York City..... Let's just hope UND keeps winning and hope for the best moving forward, I guess. Can't do much else.

I love the potential matchup with Eastern Washington. It would be a much better matchup for UND compared to going to Fargo; it's damn near impossible to beat NDSU in Fargo during the playoffs (as evidenced by the past 5 seasons). First, let's pack the Alerus Center on December 3rd and get a huge first DI playoff win!! Go Hawks!

Fortunately, if UND wins their 2nd round game and Eastern Washington does the same, the best team of the Big Sky Conference will be decided on the field. Go Hawks!

If UND receives a better seed than SDSU, then UND could play a better matchup in the quarterfinals if they reach it that far. A UND-NDSU matchup would be fun but it wouldn't be easy; let SDSU face NDSU in the quarters.

I would. He ended up at the University of Minnesota for a reason. Call a spade a spade. Keaton has been a good QB for UND but, like all positions at UND, there is always room for improvement.

Correct. Studsrud has made better decisions. Streveler is a better athlete.

I've mentioned this before and I'll mention this again: I absolutely love the way Chris Streveler plays for South Dakota. Obviously his decision-making has some issues, as it allowed UND to capitalize and beat South Dakota, but he is a heck of a competitor. That's the type of QB UND should recruit moving forward. Keaton Studsrud is the same type of competitor with his toughness.
