I don't see why we should forget about Punkovitch. What he did was terrible. Maybe he feels bad about it, but it hasn't changed his playing style. He will end up hurting someone else. Every player that ever steps on the ice with that guy needs to remember what he did. Who knows when he might do it again. Take the Oshie incident last night. That could've ended up much worse than it was.

We've had a lot of problems on Saturday night when on the road. CC, SCSU our the only third period leads we've given up all year. Let's not forget our last home game against DU. Denver will come out ticked off. We can't retaliate. Get an early goal and they'll really start getting cheap and take even more penalties. We took them out of their game early last night. I think they were ready to play cheap and dirty and it cost them with untimely penalties all night. Besides Prpich, I don't think we stooped to their level. I don't consider the Fabian hit as cheap since the DU player turned. Now where is WPoS complaining about DU players turning?

Thanks for posting that. I only saw the ending this morning and couldn't figure out why the crowd was going so crazy. I wonder if the coach is kicking himself for not playing the sooner.

That would be for the team. I think as fans we need to look ahead. It helps me to know who to root for when watching other games. Plus it gives us something to talk/write about.

How about facing UW again and winning? Should give us the common opponents on Ohio State. Plus UW is still highly ranked in the PWR. It would be a win on a neutral site. Big points to be earned.

Hak says that he felt DU was turning on checks last weekend to draw penalties. Warned the league about it, but needs to see the tape on Fabian. Also said that it seemed DU had heavy legs to start.

It seemed to me that DU was waiting and ready for cheap stuff that didn't come from the Sioux at the beginning of the game. Du ended up playing that cheap and taking a lot of dumb penalties on their part.

Good question. For me personally, I just want a fair fight that wouldn't really affect either team if it happenned. I think for a lot of us, the first Friday night game would have been the perfect scenerio for that. Now it's too costly for any team. The other problem is Paukovich continues to play dirty himself. Look at the Oshie hit and take down tonight. I felt like Prpich was ready to fight him there.
