so jb Walters was worked out today by NDSU....45 minutes...will offer later tonight by the sounds of it und has offered but only worked him out for 5 minutes (which is fine) but the "wanting u" is not even close compared to the the two schools for his services by the sound of it.... decade by decade.

that's why i said potential summit football program....if they drop football they would be just fine for the summit instead of uvu, utu, or suu or even unc..... plus when glen taylor finally sells to arod he'll have plenty to spend to help out old mankato state!! billions!

msu brings a very good basketball program(s), a baseball program for 6 core schools (plus unc) a travel partner for st thomas, potentially a summit league football program and a solid hockey program...they should have been in instead of scsu anyways..... and heck maybe they even say...add us and we'll start up men's soccer to help a brother out.... can't say that about bemidji and western (being a mac school out east)

which im all for (8 schools)....less conference reptititive playing and sprinkle in some more non conference games against schools like michigan, maine, lowell, northeastern, bc, bu,......

let's say omaha accepts an invite to the MWC and Fenton evokes the "either you with us or against us mantra" and he evicts the Mavs and they accept a CCHA membership... is a watered down MWC/CCHA membership better than a Summit/NCHC membership to Omaha's fans? this goes back to someone's post of here where Fenton can hold or use hockey membership inthe ncha/summit over the heads of schools that want to leave for greener olympic sports pastures...........like St. Thomas will try to do down the road (sooner than later imo)...... lock em up fenton!
