great point............wondering the same....that's why i was asking who decides who gets what value... imagine being on the basketball team and see amar kulivcich getting 30k when he should actually be paying UND to play here and look over and see Eli King getting 10k bc bonzer or white glasses DECIDED that amar was worth 30k bc of his exceptional shot blocking abilities and didn't think eli was worth anything more than 10K... could make for a very "divided" lockerroom for sure.

yes, it's been a tough day. BUT, I will say - I've had fantastic conversations with Dane Jackson the past couple of days, and I feel really good about his vision and the future of the program. Losing guys to the portal is tough, but I think it's also worth noting that sometimes that creates more opportunity for newcomers to shine, and for current guys to step up. We (the collective and UNDAAF) are working our tails off in unison with the coaches to get to where we all want to be - winning a national championship! Don't get me wrong - I'm not a rose-colored glasses all the time guy. We may have more rough patches in front of us. But, long-term, I believe we're in a good spot to get back to where we all want to be.....and much of that is because of support from guys like you. I shy away from sharing numbers in terms of what we’re paying players, simply because I don’t want that info to leak to our competition. But I can tell you that in hockey and football – we will be very competitive this year and that will just continue to grow.

yes, that was before all this NIL stuff.....but if a big timer wanted to write a check for the 1883 but wanted 100% going to certain sport you would think that could accomated.. yes i think he a few guys wrote checks for an endowment of some sort...he lives outside bemidji still and still golfs

That ratio split does seem a bit odd....i know a guy...you could call him "the guy" that wrote a large large check 25 years ago or whatever to save the golf team.... i doubt if he would have wanted 15% of it going to a sport other than golf.

no offense but reading between the lines i don't think he knows what hes up against. he/und couldn't come close to keeping just sasha...and as good as he was he wasn't as good as zach, tj, or toewes .....if geoof sanderson was available right now...what would his number be and could we come close to getting him....that was just a afew years ago. and i hate the "hiding the numbers".....if our numbers are good release em....only reason not to release them is if your embarressed about how little we/he/und has built up so far compared to our peers.

what if said coach has a 35% winning percentage...should he be charge of what playa gets what dollar value considering he's been wrong on a lot of his recuits abilities to be a quality d1 playa?

and do they (wglasses and bonzer) get to choose how much a certain player gets? on the men's bball side....amar knjjuuklochi sucked....but he had some accolades and some people thought he was good what if white glasses and bonzer said we have 100k earmarked for the men's side.....and they said ok amar i think your really really good at blocking shots and pump fakes that get rejected ....we decided you get 60k.....eli you get 10k ...trey you get 30k.... they go 10-30 why would anyone trust their money with that braintrust ever again?
