If it were me, I'd simply say "win one period, win the game. The first 40 minutes are history. Who's getting the next one?"

My honest assessment is that the poor ice conditions have rendered the transition game helpless, and we haven't figured out how to use the big ice effectively in the offensive zone.

I'm still watching, hoping for something different in the third. I don't care about losing. I care about not playing decent hockey!
