  1. SCSU hasn't been on a skid at all, but they've cooled off. There were points that it looked like they'd have the league won by this time, but losing 5 of six points to Western at home was huge for the rest of the league to catch up. I still think they'll win the league, but it'll be by less than two points IMHO.

If the season ended today Duluth would be at the Ralph for a playoff series. Looking like whoever gets the #2 seed gets Miami. But with this league anything could happen.

If the season ended today.....Miami would be at the Ralph!
  2. Scrivens a few years back....believe UND out shot Cornell 2-1 and possibly got shutout.

Your original post. Which is true, but happened in 2010 not 2008 like you thought because you followed with this next post.....

And that "great goalie" got the hook the previous night.

after you posted this I figured you were talking about the 2008 game at the Ralph

Cornell won 2-1 .....but they outshot the Sioux 30-23....after the Sioux had a 36-24 shot advantage the night before.

I posted this in response to your original comment that the Sioux were "out shot 2-1"

Was he maybe thinking of the year before that?

yababy8 meant the seasonafter (2010).....but I knew what he was talking about so that's why I responded with ....maybe, but then the comment about Scrivens being pulled the night before was wrong.

See....I was right after all

  3. I don't necessarily agree with that. I feel both the Schwenzfeier and Freund hirings are the most questionable of Bubba's staff. Nevertheless, I hope it works out.

Just for fun I picked the Patriots to check out their receiver coach's bio. He played QB in college. Previously he had been a special teams coach for another team. The Patriots TE coach....played QB in college.
  4. What's there to be wrong about? Do you honestly think that Santana Moss will have 0 issues having an offensive coordinator with less football experience than him? It will be interesting to see what happens when they disagree on a philosophy or play call. It shouldn't be an issue but there is tons of potential for an issue if things don't go swimmingly.

    McVay isn't calling the plays.
  5. CHN does not appear to be using the new formula yet. USCHO, Reilly Hamilton (on the USCHO forums), and I arrived at pretty much identical (Reilly has one slight difference) tables through independent development based on the NCAA's memo. It's possible that we all misinterpreted something, but USCHO generally has reasonably good connections to the committee, which increases my confidence.
